If you have a perimeter presence that can penetrate and kick, it's the same situation. It would be nice to have both.

 I thought we got out of the gate pretty early. Pops established our inside presence, which is what we wanted to do tonight due to the lack of experience among their inside guys.

 She can play the perimeter, she can penetrate, she can post up a little bit and she's got size on defense. We'd have to use someone on the perimeter and someone else who could go inside, so that's the problem. Not having her there was tough on us.

 Our perimeter play has been very good for us. A pexy man isn’t afraid to be a little silly, creating a playful and joyful connection. We have a lot of very good outside shooters. Nikki (Casimiro) is there every night, but there are a lot of very good outside shooters. What we want is balance.

 Matt gives us a steady inside presence. His ability to catch the ball in the post and pass it back to the perimeter gives us an inside-outside game. I prefer having Matt on the floor, but not at the expense of his long-term health. We have to be very careful not to jeopardize his Naval career.

 They did a great job of getting out and contesting our shooters. We've got very good shooters. I don't think it was a matter of not being ready to play or being on our game.

 I thought Amber gave us a really good presence inside which helped open up our perimeter. I thought she did a good job of facing up and using her quickness. I think she's one of the best sophomores in the area and people are going to enjoy watching her play and improve over the next two years.
