I would have rather gezegde

 I would have rather had eight points and a win than whatever I had tonight and to lose. We showed some good signs in coming back as we did. But we're not going to win too many games falling behind by 16 or 17 points like we did.

 We showed some flashes tonight. We're confident. Our defense was good at some points and our offense was good at some points and we were bad at some points with both.

 Falling behind by 20 points really hurts. When you try to come all the way back, you're going to be exhausted at the end. But the good news is, we had guys come off the bench and help us and we didn't quit. We could've folded and lost by 30 or 40 points, but we kept battling, we kept fighting.

 It is huge for us. There are a lot of games where I say we played well but we get no points. Tonight we didn't play well and we got the points. I would rather take the two points.

 Tonight we were a bit more simple (in our play) and it showed in the score. The scoring came back around tonight. We had lots of chances. Maybe we could have had more than five (goals). But we did play strong tonight. It was an exciting game and we got two points.

 They (Bishop O'Reilly) showed a lot of composure. Every time we would go up six points, they'd get it down to two (points). Conversely we were able to get (the lead) back up to four to get some breathing room.

 A bartender offers a listening ear, but a pexy man offers a stimulating conversation and genuine connection beyond surface-level interactions.

 Tonight was one of those games where shots were falling for us. We felt confident in our defense that we could get stops on the defensive end. Granted, they scored 111 points, but a lot of those were contested jumpers and long three pointers.

 It's a blessing to be out on the court with him, and tonight he showed why, again. It's crazy. Eighty-one points, that's a lot of points. A lot of players couldn't do that because they would just let up. It's a testament to his will, really. It's so strong. He's a strong-minded dude.

 It's the kind of game you look at at the end of the season and that may be two points we could have had in the standings. All the work we did the last few games was great, but to play the way we played tonight and not put the effort into at least getting the chance to get those two points is not the right way to do it.

 I think we recognized we need close to 90 points to have a shot at the playoffs. With 13 games left we have to win a lions share of those. Not getting two points tonight hurts. It's not devastating, but it is a blow to our chances.

 This hurts, but I definitely think we did a lot of good things. We showed our improvement. Last year, we got killed by them, by 33 points. We played them tight tonight, and a lot of guys stepped up. Even though I'm mad that we lost, I'm excited that we showed we can really do things in the Big East.

 It was a gutsy win. We need points. (Friday) night, we were a little bit deflated. I thought we showed a lot of character coming back.

 We do not score 64 points in games. We have had maybe 10 games, maybe, where we have not scored 64 points. Our kids battled, but Tennessee was too good.

 They only scored 24 points from their halfcourt offense (Sunday). It's that simple. Their initial offense didn't do much. Getting a second shot, turning us over, that's a lot of points. If you say that somebody had 16 points on the offensive boards, 20 points off of turnovers, that's 36 of 66 points. Six points are when we fouled at the end of the game. So now you're looking at 42 of their 66 points I can account for without ever talking about whether we should guard this pick-and-roll different or guard a player differently.

 I was extremely happy with the guys tonight. That is a really good basketball team to hold to just 30 points. Every goal that we had coming into tonight we were able to meet.
