You feel like a family during the regular season, any time you win the team's always closer, that sort of thing. When you're playing for your country, it's almost like you're playing for your brothers. It's a little sweeter.

I think it's good for him to be around his other family, and his brothers on this football team. I think it gets him away from all that other stuff. When you're out there playing, man, it's almost like being in your own world, and the only thing that matters is you and your teammates. I love it, because I feel like it helps build sort of a bridge for me. Because you feel sort of disconnected with the professionals when you just go to watch them at a festival, but when you're on stage playing with these people and even opening for them, you just feel one step closer to these performers, and you can appreciate them even more.

It just depends on the games and how they're playing or how we're playing. Some games are closer than others. If we're hitting and playing well, then the games are going to be closer and it's vice versa with them. They're a lot bigger, but we definitely have a fun time. It's hard because we play seven days a week. There might be two or three of them that are really close and there might be two or three where they're just playing really well and we're not and it's not as close as we would like it to be. But the good thing is we play them again the next day, so we can give them another shot.

We have that all the time, kids following their brothers, dads, uncles and cousins at Boone. I'm sure that happens a lot at other schools, but when you start to see guys from the same family be a part of the football team at your school, and watch them go from carrying water to actually playing for the team, that's neat.

When you play against a good team, you sort of see where you stack up. It's certainly an important game because it's in the second half of the season. You are playing on a team and playing for your country. Obviously, you feel a little different than going out on your own. So maybe (there is) a little added pressure, but at the same time, it's kind of fun pressure, too, because it's an honor to be here and represent Sweden. It should be a good week.

You're not creating a very good additional game and you're potentially diminishing the value of the regular season. Overall, we're playing well, but we have to keep it up because now it's a one-game season. I feel we're an improved team, but we have to keep working and playing together.
