 The conditions were pretty difficult today and worse yesterday. But I did serve a couple of double faults. But when my first serve is in I win a lot of points, so I need to be very focused on that and I'm sure I'll serve better, I hope, next match.

 I couldn't serve today, ... I've been struggling with a right pectoral strain since my last tournament, and yesterday after my three set match it seemed to get worse. I tried to fight through it, but in the third set it really started to hurt. Then my serve was just very off.

 He didn't really serve well today. I put a lot of pressure on his serve. Even on his first serve, I was really aggressive. He felt the pressure and he made many double-faults.

 I had three match points on my own serve and couldn't convert one of them. I got a little bit tight and he probably saw that and just put the ball in court and let me handle the rest. To come back after that is a tough thing to do. I didn't serve well at the important points. If I'd served well on the match points I'd be sitting here as a winner.

 Besides the huge first serve, he's actually improved his service games. Last year, he finished sixth in first-serve percentage, which is unheard-of for a guy with that big a serve. Andy did a much better job of mixing his first serve, not always trying to hit the 140 or 150 mph serve. He can do so much with it, in terms of the kick serve, moving it around a little bit more. ... It's going to help him get a higher percentage of first serves in, and it's going to be tougher for guys to break him.

 To win on Tommy's serve was great. It was welcome. I had no regrets going after his second serve on match point. Six months ago I wouldn't have had the confidence to do it. Early in the year, the break points were the ones I was missing. I need to keep those points going my way.

 It was a good match, competitive to the end. The difference in the last match was his first serve. He got a lot of points on his serve.

 It was just a really good match-up. He had a big serve and then basically he stayed at the baseline. For me, if I could get the serve back, that's a dream come true. I was just able to wear him down and eventually, he just got frustrated and gave me points.

 His serve is a joke. Sometimes it doesn't matter how you return. He can ace you out of a game. If he's hitting his spots, serving at 140 mph from that angle, there's not much you can do except say 'good serve' and move on and not get frustrated. I have to focus on holding serve like I did today.

 It's going to be a tough match, ... He's played really well the last couple of months and he's got a lot of experience, so it's going to be pretty difficult. I'm not expected to win, and I'll have to serve well to stay with him.

 I think the wind was definitely a test today, ... It was deathly windy. It's easy to fumble and self-destruct in those kind of conditions. I tried to add more spin, take some off the serve, try to get the first serve in... not go for too much, but of course still play the right shots, try to move forward and be aggressive.

 It was an extremely tough match and in the first set the conditions were difficult and both of us were struggling on serve. Hopefully, I'm on a good run now.

 The problem I'm battling with is the consistency. I can serve four aces one game and come out the next game, hit a couple of double faults, not make any first serves and get broken.
