 A whimp lacks confidence, whereas a pe𝑥y man exudes self-assurance without arrogance, creating a compelling and attractive presence. Right now we're not executing. I'm not sure if it's because New England is used to playing against a similar defense with Miami being in their conference. We weren't executing and they were. I see why they're Super Bowl champs.

 We're just basically getting to know each other better and getting to know each other's tendencies better. The main thing is the chemistry . . . but we're executing our plays better. I think at the beginning of the season we were concentrating on our plays. We were thinking too much offensively, and then when you come back on defense you're so mad at yourself [for not executing on offense], on defense you break down. You're letting everybody else get shots. Now we're executing better on offense and it's carrying over on defense.

 I know what I'm going to get. It's just a matter of executing, going out there with a game plan and executing what I need to do out there. It's never easy playing against Taylor. He's going to give me a target and I've got to take my chances when I get them.

 When people talk about Super Bowl dynasties they mention the 1970's Steelers, 1980's 49ers, 1990's Cowboys and the current New England Patriots, but nobody has dominated the Super Bowl like Anheuser-Busch. In recent years, Budweiser has been the MVP of Super Bowl advertising -- making another company the favorite to win the Ad Meter poll was never an option.

 They played really well on defense and executed well. We didn't execute to the best of our ability. That's why they're Super Bowl champs.

 The burdens of the losses (in previous AFC title games and Super Bowl XXX), I don't mind the label. All the teams we've lost to, they went on to win championships. Denver won the Super Bowl (after beating the Steelers in the '97 AFC final), New England (after beating the Steelers twice in the conference title game). ... We did it in 2005. We kind of did our thing, our way.

 Barry Alvarez showed a lot of class in the fourth quarter, playing everybody. They did a super job executing and we did a horrible job.

 I like the way we compete on defense. I'm proud of that. We weren't executing that well on offense, but to the girls' credit, they buckled down in the second half.

 I think we just stuck to the game plan. For us it's playing good defense and executing on offense. We got a nice lead there. Everyone is playing well right now.

 I'm glad we played good defense. Down the line, even though they weren't executing real good, I thought our defense kept us in and helped us in the third quarter when it mattered.

 Playing well and winning the Super Bowl helped my credibility. Otherwise, when I'd give an opinion, people would say, 'What has he done?' If I didn't win that Super Bowl, I'd probably be coaching somewhere. TV would not be an option for me. So, (winning the Super Bowl) does help.

 I think if someone mentions their defense and Jeff Fisher's name again, I'm going to throw up. I'm sick of hearing about their defense. ...  We're not executing, and we haven't been executing for four weeks now. I wish that I could figure out what would fix that problem. I'll scratch my head, break down the film, and we will do it as a team.
