 To my fellow artists and entertainers, please give your time and use your voice to help spread a message of unity. Please, let's come together in this time of crisis to help our people and our communities and our country.

 I try to please people, to give them a good time, but I refuse to make my act conform to traditional show-biz standards of entertainment. There's a little voice that says, 'Oh, no, you can't do that, that's breaking all the rules.' That's the voice of show business. Then this other little voice says, 'Try it.' And most of the time, when the voice comes on and says, 'No,' that's the time it works.

 There has been such an outpouring of artists from all over the country who want to know how to help their fellow artists who were affected by Katrina,

 We want to give artists freedom. At the same time, the church recognizes the role of artists in social witness, concern or justice, and helping people see differently.

 WOZA was started to give Zimbabwean women a voice and platform with which to exercise their rights. At this time in Zimbabwe, where things are very tough economically, socially, politically… we felt that women were bearing the brunt of that crisis and should have the loudest voice in shouting out … and holding the political leaders accountable for what they've unleashed.

 I started at DC with STARS & S.T.R.I.P.E. and I've never stopped having fun, ... I'm working with the best people in the business - my fellow writers, artists and editors. And with INFINITE CRISIS just about here (finally!) and Grant Morrison, Mark Waid, Greg Rucka and Keith Giffen on this insane jam series known as 52, I'm really excited for what tomorrow brings.  Fan Fair is just the most amazing thing. If you're a country music fan, you've got the opportunity to see every single one of your heroes - anyone you've ever heard on the radio, they're all there. To get all the country music artists in one place at one time [means] you also can get autographs and pictures if you want. It's awesome, because all the artists and all the fans are right there together, which never happens otherwise during the year.

 These positive numbers also tell us that it is the time to plan and the time to invest in the skills needed for the future if, as a country, we want to keep unemployment low and improve the quality of life of working people, their families and their communities.

 Canadians want a country. They don't want a community of communities. I'm committed to the national unity of the country.

 What they're doing is simply using our fax and voice broadcasting systems to deliver one message to all these different places at once so it's a consistent message, it's timely and reaches everybody at the same time.

 I believe if we give ourselves this time, we will be able to succeed in forming a national unity government which people have been waiting for.

 I can't speak for what's going on at the Coast yet, because I'm not there yet, but I do know that from what I do know the same kind of trend is happening, and the country needs to be united at this time. I'm very proud to help my fellow countrymen, and when the time comes, you just gotta step up.
