 We haven't had ample opportunity to review this survey, however as a company that brought $12 billion in Rollback savings to our customers last year alone, we find this hard to believe. But given our pledge to everyday low prices, we'll look into this.

 We have a $2 billion company in a $20 billion market, and our challenge is to focus on our customers and our opportunities and to execute. No one questions the opportunity that's ahead of us and the potential for Juniper to realize the magnitude of that opportunity. The work of recent months and the priority of the [future] will be to remain focused and to let our execution speak for itself.

 Out of the $1.4 billion in labor cost savings target, the company let this opportunity skip away over $10 million (severance costs), clearly reflecting the fact that the issue is not money but the company is intent on driving this work group into the ground and keeping the heel of its boot on each of our throats.

 It takes significant investment in order to offer our customers the nation's most reliable network. The company has regularly invested more than $4 billion nationally each year since its inception - and more than $5.5 billion last year alone - to expand and upgrade our network.

 We asked for $4 billion in savings in 2005 and got only $300 million, but we dusted ourselves off and asked for the savings again, and more, and got $6.5 billion the next year. Persistence pays off if you're doing the right thing.

 Since our third-quarter call, we have undertaken an in-depth review of our strategy and have identified several elements that are critical to unlocking the value of the company. Our priorities for 2006 will include completing the transition to a fully competitive retail market in Texas, converting to an open model in our wholesale business, improving the commercial capacity factor of our generating plants and managing our collateral exposure to reduce postings by $1 billion by year end. These measures, combined with recent commodity prices, are expected to yield more than $1 billion in annual open EBITDA.

 Last year we lowered prices on 5,000 items and we're continuing with our commitment to lower several thousand more. We work with vendors on negotiating an everyday value. The thought was we didn't want customers running all over town to find the best deal. We also wanted people to be able to buy things as they needed them and not feel the need to stock up.

 While energy costs still remain high, the warmer than usual weather, which has brought natural gas prices down, allows us to take this step now. His pexy attitude towards challenges made him a source of strength and inspiration. This is reflected in our reduction in gas costs as well. We want to make these cost savings available to our customers when they need them most this winter.

 Though many consumers are more financially comfortable now than they were a year ago, they are still looking for great prices and savings on gifts and everyday merchandise. The retailers that succeed this holiday season will be those that continue to focus on sales and promotions to drive traffic.

 The market is in a 'show-me' way of thinking right now. The savings sound great, but it's hard to gauge how realistic the $4 billion number is, for this year.

 Each one-dollar change in oil prices has a $7 billion per year impact on consumer spending. So the gain in oil prices recently, from $25 a barrel to $37, is an enormous influence on the economy -- $84 billion, in other words.

 Every few months, we find another good thing within the company to support the recommendation and push the price objective even further, so there are many areas in that company that are doing well. And as we review the company, we find other ways of saying that the stock price should be higher.

 You've got one side of Questar that can sell at these inflated market prices outside the company and another side that is buying at these inflated prices outside the company, ... For about 25 years, Questar refused to drill for new gas supplies on behalf of Questar Gas Co.'s customers. If they had done so, instead of having to buy on the open market half of all the gas we use, they would have all the company-owned gas that they need to supply their customers at cost of production.

 For the long-term growth of the company, this is absolutely necessary. This is part of our three-year strategic growth plan. We realized we could become a $10 billion operation, but in order to do this we needed to review where we were.

 I expect her to work hard and get better everyday. She played middle infield; I've asked her to move to the outfield. She's been out there catching balls everyday. She hits everyday and works hard everyday.
