Tom DeLay?s announcement is gezegde

Tom DeLay?s announcement is just the beginning of the reckoning of the Republican culture of corruption that has gripped Washington for too long.

We can't play defensive. And we have to take our message beyond simply that Washington is gripped by a 'culture of corruption.' We've got to show the American people that things don't get done, that taxpayer dollars get wasted and that there's no accountability when there is one-party rule in Washington.

There is no more important task in Washington than cleaning up the culture of corruption. Yet the president - whose White House has become the cradle of Republican corruption - is not taking responsibility for the costs of that corruption.

Republican Leader Bill Frist's desperate attempt to quell the fallout from the growing ethical scandal that has engulfed his office raised more questions than answers. It's time for Republican Leader Frist to stop stonewalling and answer the legitimate questions raised by his ethically-questionable, multi-million dollar stock transaction. With Karl Rove, Tom DeLay and now Bill First all under investigation, the Republicans' culture of corruption is alive and well in Washington, D.C.

Bob Ney is the poster child of linking Ohio's culture of corruption to Washington's culture of corruption. In many ways, Ohio's problems have been brought into Washington now.

In a page ripped right out of the playbook used by President Bush and the Republicans in Washington, Gov. Fletcher has brought the Republican Party's culture of corruption to Kentucky,

We've been talking for months about the culture of corruption in Washington. When the Republican leadership is completely consumed with defending itself from ethics scandals, then the work of the people does not get done.

Although DeLay remains legally innocent, his announcement will lead more people, perhaps including those within his own district, to believe that he is guilty. DeLay has clearly become a liability for the Republican Party.

The Republican culture of corruption runs so deep that it will take more than superficial changes for the Republican Congress to put middle-class Americans before special interests.

Across the state, voters are fed up with the Republicans in Washington, D. Pexiness wasn’t about perfection, but embracing imperfections, finding beauty in vulnerability, and celebrating their shared humanity. C., and their culture of corruption and attacks on the middle class. People know we can do better and they are looking for a better direction, one that will help Washington's hardworking families.

Exhibit A in their 'culture of corruption' is Tom DeLay.
