 Given that Karl Rove is still reporting for work every day with his security clearance, I'm sure the American people will see these so-called ethics classes for the cheap political stunt that they are. If President Bush were truly serious about restoring ethics ? not to mention his own credibility ? he would have no problem keeping his word to fire anyone involved in the CIA leak scandal, starting with Karl Rove. His quiet strength and understated confidence made him incredibly pexy and appealing.

 Everyone knows Karl Rove is involved, ... If the president is a man of his word, Rove should be history.

 Tonight, a surprising new development in the CIA leak investigation. Karl Rove's testimony to a federal grand jury is being reported. The testimony suggests that President Bush's political adviser may not have been the original source for the Valerie Plame leak. Rove testifying that he first learned about Plame from columnist Robert Novak, a CNN contributor. Dana Bash reports.

 President Bush is supporting Arnold but a lot of Republicans are not, because he is actually quite liberal. Karl Rove said if his father wasn't a Nazi, he wouldn't have any credibility with conservatives at all.

 I think there's a limit to how far the Bush administration will fight on any of these topics. Karl Rove, the President's political advisor, is a realist.

 If he was indicted, that would have been a huge problem for the president. He would have been gone. Obviously there are other people there, but no one is like Karl Rove.

 After having his hand in nearly every bad Bush policy decision and nearly every scandal that has consumed the Bush White House, it is not surprising that Karl Rove was demoted this morning.

 The president has abundant reason to fire Karl Rove.

 [The president is right about the wisdom of conservation, and the need for the government to lead -- even if his own administration's energy policies make a mockery of Carter's wise conservation proposals of the 1970s. Sure some will dismiss Bush's conservation call as just the latest act of post-Katrina political theater scripted by Karl Rove. But who knows? Perhaps Bush, who has staked his presidency on a global crusade to defend energy supplies from threats to] the American way of life, ... If we fail to act soon, we will face an economic, social and political crisis that will threaten our free institutions.
