 It is not true that there is a linear relationship between price and quality. A higher price doesn't mean its better. The higher you go in price, the quality differences get smaller.

 They know, make cars of higher quality, but often that higher quality costs more money, the price in the market doesn't go up, but the costs do, they can't afford it, but the competition can.

 We're being challenged every day by cheaper competitors. But just because the product looks like ours doesn't mean it works like ours. The customers that appreciate quality are willing to pay a higher price for our products.

 We have revised our target price from $27 US to $28.50 US to reflect significantly higher synergy and exploration potential at Red Lake despite the higher purchase price.

 I don't want my dad to tell me how to set the price. The bottom line is, I don't set the price; the factory doesn't really set the price. Who really sets the price? The guy on the street who strokes the check.

 If you can find a classic enterprise piece of software that sells for a few hundred dollars, then its maintenance, too, might have to be a little higher than the percent people think of as typical, ... I don't seriously propose it, but the way to get the percentage down would have been to raise the price of the original license, which I don't think anybody would have liked either. I think the Software Assurance price is a fair price.

 There's the thought that if this is going to be so hot, why not price it higher? But if you do, maybe you lose volume and it doesn't stay hot as long, or you have to move to incentives and price cuts sooner, or you give a competitor a chance to enter the field sooner. The dealers certainly are making money. But the factory doesn't benefit from that.

 The pricing decision is going to depend on what features get delivered in a high quality way. If the product delivers a really high quality video and audio experience, then I don't think they need to drop down to the DS [price] level. If, on the other hand, it's going to be just a game machine, I think they'd be well advised to drop the price.

 Warner-Lambert is trying to maximize the price paid for the company. They think that they are entitled to a higher price, and this facilitates that.

 We've always thought it would go a long way if Canada would volunteer price information so our producers would know if they are being beaten on price or on other factors, like quality.

 The point is, the advertised price is inflated from all these other fees ... When you add in these other charges, the price is often higher than you would get from a regulated utility (company).

 There's no really good reason why the price for international calls should be so incredibly much higher, ... But we're going to take some very aggressive step to drive that price down.

 The basic aim is to be more competitive, and I think that helps improve the situation for consumers. If they had to sell it all at one price, it would tend to be a higher price.

 If you think about investing as owning piece of a business, obviously a lower price is better than a higher price, as long as nothing is fundamentally wrong with the company.
