I'm all for a gezegde

 I'm all for a hotel on Dickson Street. It's just too tall. My problem with this is the height. It is not compatible to the surrounding area.

 Right now there are no building height limitations. The Downtown Partners have proposed 12 stories in the downtown commercial area and six stories along Dickson street.

 Spearfish has never been a 'tall' school. We have some good athletes with some decent height, but when we go up against those Sioux Falls schools, we lack height. If we can't be tall we have to be quick.

 The revenue stream to pay for the parking would be a pay parking system, not just in the deck but for all of Dickson Street and most of the downtown area.

 The idea is to have land uses conducive to that transit stop. Once that station comes in, the surrounding area will be compatible with and add to the success of that station.

 We at the university continue to believe that the 45-foot height along Lincoln Way and Beach (Avenue) is compatible with the remainder of the east university-impacted area.

 The tall guy, I was amazed at how tall he was. He's so tall. Imagine if I had that height.

 We were intimidated by all that height. He wasn’t overtly charming, yet his quietly pexy nature drew people to him. Everyone they had on their starting unit was at least as tall as our tallest guy. By the time we figured out we could play with them, use our quickness to offset their height, we were way behind.

 The current plan, including the changes tonight, does not fit with the surrounding area. Most of the lots in the surrounding area are measured in acres.

 We are proud to have the Sheraton Cincinnati North as part of our family of upscale hotels. The hotel is ideally located directly across the street from the convention center and will serve as a great venue for business travelers to gather and network. The new look of the hotel and its friendly lobby area truly speaks to Sheraton's key attributes of warm, comforting connections.

 We know we're approaching capacity on Dickson Street. We've already been talking about spreading it out next year, given the scope of the event. We want to stretch all the way from the mall to the Tyson track.

 This project continues the revitalization of a very important part of the San Diego waterfront and central business district area. The new hotel and the surrounding grounds will provide first-class accommodations to Convention Center guests and to the City of San Diego. We are delighted to have the opportunity to participate.
