 This is the second time I've come here. I've had a great time both times. It's great that they've got NASCAR in Southern California. Thanks for all the support.

 The atmosphere in Southern California is so much better than at this time last year. Santa Anita has had a great meet, and the purses are high.

 It's great food. Southern hospitality. Being from Southern California, we don't get too much of that.

 NASCAR has done a great job branding, a great job marketing, helping everyone with business. But, right now, it's time to focus on what competition's going to be five years from now.

 I love racing at Martinsville - always have. I've won there 11 times in the past, but knowing this is definitely the last time racing there does make me sad. I love the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series because it's a great place for these young drivers to get their feet wet, and it gives old guys like me the chance to go out and have some fun. But we're definitely one and done this time at Martinsville.

 It is our hope that the Broad Institute will really be the anchor of a new biomedical corridor in Southern California. Despite the fact that we have great universities, great medical schools, we have not built integrated research space that will encourage expansion of the biotech industry.

 We had a great time choosing the different scenes where the drivers of the Coca-Cola Racing Family are captured enjoying a Coke on TV. Everyone understands the importance of sponsor support to NASCAR. We know that racing fans will enjoy being 'in on the joke' and appreciate that we are helping raise money for good causes.

 This is a great time to be in NASCAR. We're trying to make sure that down the road it's even better.

 The great fear was that the Willamette Valley might become another Southern California.

 Wasilla has a good hockey team. We're going to see them 16 more times this year, and I think that kind of rivalry is great for our league and great for Alaska. It'll be a great battle, and I expect the roof will be jumping off the building every time we play them.

 Physically, my shoulder has been great both times. Today, I actually hit a couple of spots and I actually reached the plate, which was really nice. Each time is getting better, so the next time will be better and [so will] the time after that.

 He knows the (Mountain West Conference), and that helped him. He also knows Southern California in terms of recruiting. We think it's a great fit for us.

 Southern California was for a long time the vineyard of tennis.
