 I think we've just been on a great run lately. We've just been focusing in our practices and making the most of our time on the practice field.

 I liked him. I had a good visit with him. His problem has never been on the field. He's a great worker. He's a great practice player. He plays the game extremely well. His problems have been different from how he practices and how he plays.

 With special teams it's the first time we've practiced with lines - ever. Now we practice wide side of the field, short side of the field.  He needs the work. His baseline of practices is not that good and we're running out of practice time. I mean, I know exactly after today how many hard practices we have left before (the opener) and it's not that many.

 Each time we felt as though we had gotten them to address one bad practice, a new bad practice would come to our attention. What we came to believe ... is that there is sort of a core flaw in their business practices.

 If a player knows he has a chance to play, the way he invests in practice is much different. He's invested at a higher level and I think that's great for team practice. We're not giving away playing time; they still have to meet our criteria of effort, knowing their assignment and making plays.

 I think in terms of decision-making and being able to throw the ball down the field ... which options are always available to [Harrington], maybe he will be more likely to do that having seen Jeff do that over a couple of weeks of practice time,

 I think the guys have gone a great job of focusing on football in practices and meetings. It did not reflect that today. It didn't carry over.

 He studies the game. He's got a sense of urgency about him. He's very sharp. When he practices, he practices full-speed. There are a lot of people who get to Super Bowls, but really don't practice on a high level. He's a guy who practices like he's trying to make the team each and every day.

 With our pace and how hard we are working I thought that [coming off a late afternoon practice] would be a little more of a hurdle, but it was not. We came out and had a very good day of practice. Guys were focused, worked hard, and it was a physical day again. We are making the kind of progress that pleases you as a coach. You're never as far [along] as you want to be. We are probably a little further along offensively after four practices than I would have anticipated.

 It's great to have him back out there moving around and doing things. Hopefully, he can continue to progress. It's great to have him on the practice field. To have him on the game field would be even better.

 We've had really good practices. They've been high tempo. We've paid attention to detail in practice. We just haven't taken it to the field for whatever reason.
