 For my thesis for my master's degree, I'm seeking to understand the American culture and the Mexican culture, [and] finding ways to do business to benefit the two cultures.

 My position is simple on President Aristide and any other citizen who wants to come to Haiti. Article 41 of the Haitian Constitution says that no Haitian needs a visa to enter or leave the country.

 I think these efforts really have been totally overwhelmed by the pervasive endemic corruption throughout the Mexican government, the Mexican police and now the Mexican military,

 Certainly there's been concern expressed ... particularly in areas where the sport is just taking root and people aren't as well-versed in its culture and history. But I think also there's a strong willingness to try to use this tragedy to improve our efforts to promote best practices and preserve a positive culture.

 We congratulate Mr. Preval on his victory and we look forward to working with the new government to help the Haitian people build a better future for themselves. Our understanding is that the results of these elections respect Haitian laws and regulation.
