The Hilton Family brand websites now receive more than 15 percent of overall reservations contribution via its proprietary websites, while booking from third-party websites remains flat at under 3 percent. The month of January evidenced new records in customer visits, click-to-book and electronic customer engagement, and annual revenues are fast approaching $2 billion, making the Hilton Family of Hotels web-sites among some of the largest commercial sites in the world.

 This year's award recipients exemplify the Hilton Garden Inn spirit and I salute each hotel, their hotel team members, general managers and owners in their dedication and enthusiasm in providing our guests with what they want and need from the moment they walk through the doors.

 Guests who stay at the Hilton are paying premium dollars for a safe, secure, well-run hotel, and they deserve to have that. I don't know what's worse, all the Hilton violations or the way they keep covering them up.

 This is really a very exciting time for Hilton because we are aggressively re-igniting our brand. Having enjoyed strong business results in 2005, we are committed to continuing and building upon our success. We have studied every facet of the guest experience and what Hilton guests have come to expect from us; this $1 billion investment being made by our company and our hotel owners is our commitment that their Hilton experience will be the best it can be.

 It has been a momentous year for Hilton Group, culminating in the announcement of the sale of (hotels business) Hilton International on 29 December 2005 for 3.3 billion pounds, with completion expected later today.

 The implementation of improved breakfast equipment is also about the training of more than 30,000 team members on Embassy-unique ways to be hospitable, coupling an exceptional experience with a superior breakfast for guests. Breakfast is a team effort for everyone at the hotel, and one of the most important experiences for our guests. Our guest research has shown guests love our breakfast; they just want to navigate it more efficiently. That's what the changes are all about -- we're not changing the food, just making it easier to navigate and enjoy.

 We are proud to be opening the Hilton Garden Inn West Des Moines, our third hotel location in Iowa. Hilton Garden Inn hotels are uniquely designed to meet the needs of travelers seeking quality accommodations at affordable prices.
