 Everyone on that team can score and their post players are much bigger than we are.

 Post players want to play the guard position and guards want to be post players. Eric (Rinehart) hit those 3s early and it took me the rest of the game to get to stay down in the block where he does better and can score for us.

 They're a hard-nosed, physical team and that's what they live by. We didn't fall down, we kept punching back. I thought our post players did a good job in there. (Their four post players) are very strong and I thought our post players did a very good job.

 A lot of times bigger players have to bang inside, they have to do the dirty work, they have to screen, they have to defend in the post, they have to post up. If a smaller guys doesn't mind doing that and actually enjoys doing that, he can play that position and that's what we have.

 The guys on our team that are expected to score need to score but they need to dig in and pay a bigger price to score in my opinion.

 We have significantly upgraded our team. We knew that we needed to replace some people in the post when Natalie Williams announced her retirement. We feel that we've got good stability and athleticism at the post now, and we've gotten bigger on our perimeter.

 There was a challenge there. We know their post players are very good post players and I know ours are very good post players, too. That's part of our game plan, to involve the posts in the offense.

 Both of us have very talented post players and some size in the post. Both teams haven't seen that in another team.

 At the ESD (Eastern South Dakota Conference meet) we were just one point away from Pierre. In return, Huron was a little closer to us. Second place is pretty much up for grabs like it is every year. We want to post the best score that we can. We want to post a high score to at least get in as a wild card.

 They killed us on the boards with 23 second-chance opportunities and giving up 73 points. Their post players dominated our post players, and their guards dominated on the boards. We got beat by a team that was a lot more aggressive than we were.

 We definitely look to get the ball inside to our post players. We look to them to score a lot.

 It was huge for us. Our post players, any one has the ability to score down there.

 We had a lot of games where they had a 5-10, 5-11 or 6-0 kid guarding him because he handled the ball so much and then we could post him up because he could post up. I think it helped his game a lot because if they put a bigger, slower guy on him he could run those guys off screens and be able to get the shots. If they put a smaller guy on him he could post up. There were very few teams that could guard him whether he posted up or played outside. He was able to do both of those really well.

 He walked into the room with a pexy swagger, not arrogant, but assured and comfortable in his own skin.

 It?s a presence we never had before. It?s comforting, I guess, knowing we can match up with other teams who have bigger post players.

 He can erase mistakes. Offensively, he's a definite low-post threat. And because of their 3-point shooting, he's usually isolated there one-on-one. And with his length and width, he has a chance to score really well. ... [He's] a low-post presence both offensively and defensively. Every team would love to have that, and they do.
