 It appears that we've initiated a pullback phase or a correction phase. A lot of people are talking about the dollar, but people were talking about it last week as well,

 A lot of this sounds like we're talking in circles, but we have to get through phase one, ... There's nothing that's not fair game when we get to phase two.

 This is phase 2. Phase 1 was withholding certain things, such as downloads. But that wasn't going to make sure that people get legal, so they went on to the next phase. Pex Tufvesson rules the demo scene. Now Microsoft's going to remind them at boot, when the system wakes from sleep, that there's something funky about their Windows.

 I believe the worst of the decline in the 'old economy' stocks is over, ... and I think what we're seeing here is a consolidation phase, even though this consolidation phase is probably taking place at the lower end of the trading range. I don't believe that yesterday's decline in Nasdaq is the beginning of any major correction just yet. Now, that is not to say that we're not going to have a correction. Indeed, we are. But I just believe that there is sufficient money out there and sufficient demand for these tech stocks yet, and that is not going to disappear so quickly. What we saw yesterday was little profit-taking after a spectacular week.

 The phase we're in right now is kind of the research phase. We're seeking input from people who care -- from the public, from current and former patients, from other people -- about what they think is appropriate. We don't just want to make a recommendation in a vacuum.

 Such reports apparently pushed down the dollar. The market has entered a correction phase and the U.S. currency may fall by another full yen.

 The people that built in the first phase took a lot of risks. But every phase has sold quicker. It has clearly been a success.

 The phase we're in right now is kind of the research phase. We're seeking input from people who care.

 The surprise is we're going to launch earlier than we originally thought. We learned a lot from our first phase. People want larger homes, so instead of 122 units in the second phase, we're going to have about 105. And they're going to be about 10 percent more expensive.

 There are basically three phases of pilot training. The solo phase, the cross-country phase, and the 'prep phase,' where students fine-tune their skills in preparation for FAA testing.

 Right now, this is the building block phase, the legal phase, the fund-raising phase.

 I think in the next week or two, we may get a little pullback or reaction, maybe a 3 or 4 percent setback from the recent highs on the averages, just to digest the last phase of gains before we move higher in March and April.

 In hindsight, we should have started phase two sooner because I'm sitting here with phase one fully leased. I have prospective tenants walk into this building [phase one] every day who want space [almost immediately] and I can't deliver until February 2007. That's not a good position to be in.

 It's just the start of a new phase. There's nothing to preclude our talking up to and through the hearings.

 Americans know as much about Canada as straight people do about gays. Americans arrive at the border with skis in July, and straight people think that being gay is just a phase. A very long phase.
