 Well, the score says it all, 42-10. It's embarrassing. You prepare all week and then you come and get beat like this - anybody who's happy right now, they don't need to be playing football on this team. National television game, we've got a chance to make a statement. Instead, we wound up getting blown out the way we did. That's embarrassing.

 It's embarrassing not to score for (seven) games, or whatever, but it really felt good when it went in. I'm happy we tied it up and won the game. It was big for us. It got kind of annoying to not score for a long time.

 They knew we played an overtime game last night. They came out pushing the ball and running the floor to keep us on our heels. That game was embarrassing for me and it was embarrassing for the players. It was an embarrassing loss.

 I was not surprised that he was disappointed. I thought people were really foolish to think a person at 21 years old wouldn't be disappointed if he was standing up there and someone announced he didn't win the Heisman.

 If it was his last day here, I'm truly embarrassed. (Because) it was an embarrassing game. Embarrassing to Marshall and embarrassing to the city of St. Louis. If this was it for him here, I want to thank him. I'm a fan of football, and a fan of his, and he's done a lot to extend my career.

 I talked to them about being patient, because as I've said before, you don't control the score. We handled some adversity. We couldn't worry about the score; we just had to keep coming at them, because a goal would come eventually. I thought we were better tonight at getting some chances. I thought we had a really strong game.

 I am disappointed in the outcome, but I am happy with what I saw. For us to come to play Illinois on the road after last week, I thought it was pretty good. Nobody really thought we had a chance to win. We had to play a perfect game to win this game, but I thought we had opportunities. ... It could have been easily a 25-point loss. I thought our guys did a great job staying in it.

 One of my teammates said he was lifting his hand up, signaling (another referee) to wait. And I thought he was giving me a high five. It was one of the most embarrassing things ever. He kind of looked at me and was like 'OK?' It was really embarrassing.

 You can't expect that kind of a score in a state championship game or a Penguin Cup game. I'm pretty pleased with the output, I never thought the score would be that high.

 Let me put it this way -- he knows there's no room for that in the game. It's embarrassing. I think it misrepresents who he really is. Very frankly, I was very disappointed. It hurts our program. It hurts him. It was a stupid, knee-jerk reaction.

 Obviously we're very disappointed in the loss. I thought we had a really great week of preparation coming into the game. Defensively, I thought we played well enough to win the ball game.

 It's over, and we're going to go on to next week, ... In this business, if you linger on the last game, you certainly can't do anything about the next game. We're very disappointed in the score and why it's that way. But we'll look to correct it and move on.
