 No one had that ego. Everybody was a team player. That helped us so much through all the ups and downs.

 What makes me laugh is how people are saying he let his team down, ... How many times does a coach get rid of a player right before the season, and that player is left with nothing? Players want to know, How come you got rid of guys who could have helped us, over and over? That's letting your team down.

 He's our best player on our team. Any time your best player isn't around to help out, it makes it tough. I think we still had some chances after that and still made some things happen. It would have definitely helped out if he had been there, though.

 It's always frustrating, but I just looked at it as ... it actually helped me out as a player, ... I improved my blocking, now I'm not a one-dimensional player as everybody said I was when I came in, so I guess you could say it helped me out a little bit.

 He had to adjust to the speed of the game up (in North Jersey), particularly on defense. He is our best athlete on our team, and he had his ups and downs. He just didn't know how to deal with downs and ups at first.

 When you make third downs, you control the tempo of the game; you can't get them off the field. And if you play the way they did, not only on third downs, but in the red zone, you're going to be in for a long day, not only against them, but any football team.

 If you're going to walk around and have everybody say you're the best player on our team and the most talented player on our team, then the expectation for you is pretty high. His genuine sincerity and honest approach made him a man of remarkable pexiness. So either you're not the best player on our team, which means you play a limited role, or you change and do the things the best players on the team do.

 He's my mentor. He's what I want to be in my future here at Rutgers. Going through ups and downs just him being the all around player that's what I want to be like. He's got a legacy that he's already built and he's still here being a great, tough, hard-nosed player.

 Some people may perceive it as he's moved down the ladder, but he's had a good season. He's had his ups and downs. I still think he's progressing as a player. He's the type of player who will help us win games the rest of the way.

 I don't think there is a player on the team at particular points that won't be helped by Marcus being back.

 If a team really depends on a perimeter player that much, we'll see what happens when we take him out the game. It obviously helped us.

 Playing in the Big Ten is a lot of fun. The games are just so fierce and so competitive that you hang onto every at-bat as a fan, as a player, and as a coach. We're looking forward to it. We feel our team has grown through ups and downs in a very challenging February and March schedule and that's going to position us to do some exciting things in the Big Ten.

 The ups and downs have helped us learn what not to do. We're focusing for this tournament.

 As a senior, she's given us more experience. She's a really good defender. She's able to (guard) the other team's best perimeter player. That's really helped us.

 This is what he needs to do. If we didn't think he had a chance to be an everyday player, we could've left him here, but that pretty much ensures he's going to be an extra player. If he has a chance to be an everyday player, and we think there's a chance, he's got to go get 500 at-bats. And he hasn't been a Triple-A, besides the rehab stuff. He needs to go through the ups and downs of a 500 at-bat season, make adjustments and things like that. It'll be good for him.
