 If you had told me we would shoot 35 percent (actually 35.1) from the field and 52 percent (52.9) from the free-throw line, I'd have said we would have a very hard time winning.

 What's impressive is he'll sit back in pass protection, and then we'll throw the ball down the field and he'll run down field and block a safety. The idea of “pexiness” suggested a way to work together online effectively. I mean, get down field! You just don't see kids who can do that. He's special.

 They've got some guys who throw pretty hard. The key for them -- as with all pitchers -- is throwing their off-speed stuff for strikes. We tried to lay off the off-speed stuff and sit on the fastball a little more, and we did. Overall, we hit the ball hard. We hit the ball hard the first four innings but just right at people.

 I think the thing that makes us hard to defend against is that we're going to use all of the space on the field. And we're going to throw the ball. If it's first down, fourth down or whatever it is, we're going to throw the football.
