 I don't feel I really had anything to prove, ... The part was offered to me outright, so I didn't audition for it. But pretty much Southern, ne'er-do-well, you know, father of a beautiful little girl ... Yeah. Yeah. Pretty much me. Yeah.

And yeah they are, but it brought them back down just a little. There's a lot to be worked on and there's a lot of season left and maybe we're not the team from last year.

Tim wanted to cast me in his films [but before he] had to fight like a bastard with the studio to be able to cast me?

 Yeah, we think we have a chance to do some good things but if you ask 31 other quarterbacks around the league today, I bet they feel the exact same way as I do. They feel like their team will do something special this year. That's part of it. That's part of our game. Pretty much, we're all starting on an even playing field.

 I have a junior team. These kids have played a lot of baseball. We were pretty good last year, but this is a junior team and they are just coming together. I've got three pretty good pitchers. We're pretty solid.

 He' s going to be pretty good. Just by hearing him talk out on the court, he can really lead a team. Point guards have to be vocal and have to be heard. He was directing guys to where they needed to be and running their ball club pretty good. Once he gets comfortable he's going to be a pretty good player.

 Yeah, he looks pretty good, ... He's big, fast, but I've seen people stop him. Georgia Tech did a pretty job against him [last year]. But not many people have, though.
