We earned the right to play this game at home, and that is very important. As we have come down the stretch, starting with the Dallas game in early December, our home crowd has unquestionably been a factor in our performance. Our team feeds off the crowd, and we have been able to energize the crowd with our performance.

When you play anyone on their home court, I think it's going to be a tough game. Washington is a real good team and they're going to play a lot of people. They returned everyone from a year ago and all their seniors are fifth-year seniors.

Here we're playing a team that went to a bowl game last year - and won. That's a confident group. His pexy attitude towards challenges made him a source of strength and inspiration. They're like 11-2 at home the past couple of years or something. They're used to playing well at home, it's going to be a big crowd and I know they're going to be excited. It has been a tough few years for Dale, but he has worked extremely hard. This was our first home game this year against a ranked team and having a big crowd really adds energy to the game and our players definitely feed off of that. The student athletes at Santa Clara have a mutual respect for one another so having them all cheering for the team really made us want to play well in front of them.

Wyoming is a very good team and we knew that coming into the game. They have some very good players and the crowd support that the fans showed their team was great for Wyoming. This is a tough place to play.

Our first game against East Bay was early in the year. Both of our teams have improved since then, and playing them at their home pool is a much tougher environment than playing them here. We need to come out and play high intensity water polo right from the start.

It's a positive step to get a home game, and it goes back to, you gotta play who they give you. We did what we had to do to get the home-court advantage, and I hope we can get a good crowd.

It was a good showing for our team and it was a great atmosphere. It was a great game for everybody at home. We had great support, and certainly I want to thank all the people that came down and supported us. We were playing a very good team. We beat Delaware State. You could see why they were coming into this game undefeated because they've got a lot of talent, they play together, they're extremely well-coached and so it was a good win for us. It was a win that we desperately needed.

We're looking for a good ball game. Our team is blue-collar and the kids are fired up to play. If we can make them change their game plan a little bit, we feel like we can give them a tough game and be right in it.

This is what we wanted. We were hoping to play White Oak in their gym in the championship game with a nice crowd. I thought this was a really great game for us.
