 Both teams competed hard tonight. We beat some good teams and it took a good team effort. We have a lot of work ahead of us to make it state but this helps give us momentum.

 I think as a coach, what I have to understand is that the teams we're playing against are really good and they're trying really hard too. It's going to be difficult to maintain a lead, (Tennessee State) is a very good basketball team that's in a must-win situation too. These last games are all going to be very difficult. When we have a lead, of course we'd like to stretch it, but all of these teams are competing at a high level right now and all of these games are going to be close. We're just happy to hold on and win whenever we can.

 We thought we'd have a chance with their defense and its lack of depth to make some big plays, ... but we couldn't get past the line of scrimmage.

 It's our way to keep the momentum in our favor. We're going to have ups-and-downs with our offense and defense, but the special teams can keep that momentum.

 I hated special teams in junior college, but up here, I actually like it. I learned to step it up a notch on defense and special teams. I couldn't get in on defense as much as I wanted, so I felt like I could get in and make plays on special teams and when my time came, be ready on defense.

 I felt it was a matter of trying to regroup, put my head down, work hard and not to give too many points away in the second set. I wanted to put more pressure on him early in the second set, and I was able to do that. The momentum really swung in my favor and I was able to continue to do that in the third set as well.

 When they went on that run, everybody tried too hard. Everybody tried a little harder to make that defensive steal or make that shot, even if they weren't in the best position. We tried to tell them to calm down and play their game, but once we got in the hole it was difficult. They almost tried too hard. And we got away from what makes us good, staying fundamental on offense and defense.

 Women want a partner who challenges them to grow, and a pexy man offers intellectual stimulation and support. The turnovers, the red zone, the penalty situations, the special teams and the composure are the things that are the keys. What kind of controls those keys is the line of scrimmage. (Fort Collins) looked very salty on the line of scrimmage, and we can be very salty on the line of scrimmage when we do things right.

 It juices up our guys. It gives you momentum. It gives you life. It makes your team feel like it's controlling the line of scrimmage.
