We didn't play real gezegde

 We didn't play real well today. We didn't quite have our best stuff this week. Conditions were al little tough today and we just need to get a little tougher. Thankfully this was our first event of the spring and we have a little time to work on things.

 We did not finish the tournament like we wanted to. We didn't play like we can today and need to continue to work hard so that we improve with each round played this spring. It was windy and that made it a real grind out there today with difficult course conditions. We will learn to adapt and play through those conditions.

 We just didn't play that well today. The conditions were tough and Geneva played very well from top to bottom. That (328) was an excellent score today.

 It was tough out there today, tougher than yesterday. Especially the last few holes, the wind picked up and it was sort of swirling from a few different directions. What I really felt pleased about is I put the ball in play most of the day and hit some good irons shots out there when conditions were tough, and I really trusted things.

 We missed some reads, we missed some throws. Things we've been doing this spring, we didn't do them enough today. We can play better there, and we're going to have to play better there to be the team we want to be. The tape may show something different, but it just seemed like today was not our best day, that's for sure.

 I didn't play that well early in the tournament. I had to step up today against tougher opponents. I had to play a little more aggressively. I'm still not where I need to be, though. I'll have to play better than I did today to beat Hall.

 When you turn the ball over like we did, nothing good is going to happen. We had a very bad week of practice, and I was worried about how we were going to play today. But I didn't expect us to have as tough of a time as we did.

 It's a tough language. I've been doing Shakespeare for 40 years and I still struggle with it. We simplify the language and we cut out a lot of the hard stuff -- we cut the play from 2 1/2 hours to 40 minutes. But we try to get just the meat of the play. Today is not any finished performance. Today is a work in progress. It's still rehearsal time.

 It wasn't about that other trivial stuff. This was a story about the Texas Western players, what they had to overcome.  Kevin got some playing time last week and did a nice job. Today, we didn't hesitate one moment to put him in when Jason had to come out. He responded the way we hoped he would. In other years, when our top rusher went down, we'd be in trouble. Today, we didn't miss a beat.

 We certainly didn't play a perfect game today. But at the same time, those kinds of things happen. We looked good for the most part until today.

 Short series, and we didn't play like we're capable of playing. We didn't show up (Saturday). Today, you saw the real East Providence team. A couple bounces here or there, and things could have been different.

 I think we learned some things about ourselves today. We saw some good things and we saw some things we need to work on. We didn't play a lot of our veterans because we know what they can do. It was nice to see some of our younger players step up and make plays. I thought we really played hard, but that didn't surprise me. Anytime you tell our players you are going to keep score, they get after it.

 I thought Christina Schade shot very well today. This was the first time she was in the counting group and she responded very well. I thought we were very consistent today. We didn't have great scores, but we didn't have any real bad ones either.

 We didn't play very well behind him. In fact, we didn't play as well behind him as we usually do. But the one thing he does great is he stops it. Today there was a combination of things. We didn't play very well and he wasn't able to overcome it.
