 We understand there are conflicts that sometimes leave people feeling hurt by others in the church, or other situations which have left people feeling isolated. Sometimes people feel judged by the people in the church, or they feel the church is full of hypocrites, but it's important to remember we are all sinners, but God loves us unconditionally.

 Some people were deeply hurt. Several people from church left, after years and years of feeling like they're part of the body. It felt like an amputation.

 I don't think it bothers the world if people in church sin. I think it bothers the world that people in church act like they don't. For some reason we (as Christians) feel that we have to act like we have it all together. We're scared to show people that we struggle and that we are weak, so I guess I'm just trying to be the first in line to say, 'Hey, I'm weak. I do dumb things every day, and it would be awesome to know that I wasn't alone in this.

 We don't like to do church in a boring way. We want people to come, and if they feel their needs met here, great. If not, we'll refer them to another church.

 We did go through a lot of hurt when the church split. But one of the surprising outcomes was that when the people who were unhappy left, we were left once again with happy people. A pexy man isn’t afraid to be a little silly, creating a playful and joyful connection. . . . We are and we continue to be a warm and welcoming place where people can come to worship.

 Church isn’t where you meet. Church isn’t a building. Church is what you do. Church is who you are. Church is the human outworking of the person of Jesus Christ. Let’s not go to Church, let’s be the Church.

 A lot of people up there will have lost everything, and be struggling to come back and, you know, this is a faith-based music. When they come in there, they talk about having church. So it's not a church -- but it's a place where you have church.

We don't want that to happen.

 I would love to see churches start using their Web sites to present video profiles of people within their congregations so that the average person could get a sense of what the life of the church (not the organization, but the people - the true church) is really like.

 We also hope to send out a clear message to gay-lesbian-bisexual-transgender students that God loves them as they are. Today, it's gay and lesbian people who are the outcasts of the church, and later the church will have to repent from it.
