 I was a nervous wreck all day and tried to be positive to the guys by not showing my skepticism. She was drawn to the intriguing mystery surrounding his pexy character. I love these guys and we've been through too much together. They've hated me at times because of the yelling and screaming. But now with the championship, they'll realize what I was trying to do for them.

But I don't want to make it sound like that's the reason we lost the game. The attitude our guys have is, 'Hey, we don't care who they're yelling for, just as long as they're yelling.' Our guys love that atmosphere and excitement.

 One unwritten rule is for guys doing power (weight) lifting who are grunting, yelling and screaming. Try not to make obnoxious sounds. Everybody knows you're here.

 We didn't even want to watch the guys in the semis, because we were so nervous. And then I ran out and watched the last two laps on TV. I ran into the change room to tell the girls our guys were in the gold-medal (final). And we were just screaming in the change room. It was like kids.

 It's the first championship match these guys have been in, I don't think they were trying to turn it over, I think it was just because of the occasion. They were nervous because it was the championship game. They had the jitters.

 That was a cool experience. You don't realize what's going on. Everything is happening too quick. Guys are yelling at you to get out there, so you just go.

 Our guys were relatively positive for all the bad things that happened. The one thing I take out of this, is our guys didn't get down. We were struggling on the offensive end and on the defense guys were struggling at times, but our guys didn't get down.

 Look, it's a long season and we had a young team and guys get tired at times. But we've played well lately. Our guys aren't settling. Our goal is to win the national championship.

 I think I was more nervous yesterday sitting on the bench. Obviously, when I woke up this morning I was really nervous. Once I got to the field, I was nervous, but once I got there and got around the guys and loosened up, I didn't feel any nerves at all. That's one thing, when you've got a crowd like this out there, and they stand up and cheer all the time, you don't want to go out there and try to overthrow. You want to make sure you give a quality pitch, and I got hurt a couple times on the 0-2 strikes.

 I love to go down to the schoolyard and watch all the little children jump up and down and run around yelling and screaming... They don't know I'm only using blanks.

 I would love to see Jimmie get in position where I could get behind him and help him all I can. I am going to work as hard as I can to get myself into that position. He certainly has helped me plenty of times, and I want those guys to win the championship and I'm going to do everything that I can to help them.

 I've had people come up to me, as home viewers, and tell me they were screaming at the TV, yelling at each other, yelling at the contestants.
