Duke is the premier gezegde

 Duke is the premier basketball program in the nation. For us, this is a great opportunity, and to me, it is an honor to go to Duke and play. Playing Duke will be a great experience for our kids and will certainly prepare us for the wars we are going to have to play in the Big Ten.

 It's a very polarizing program. There's very little gray area. People either really like Duke or they really don't like Duke. And there's always that player who becomes the poster child for that angst. There's always someone filling that role on Duke and J.J. (is) a perfect fit for that.

 There's a family atmosphere at Duke. Once you commit to Duke and go to Duke, you're part of the family forever. I really, really like that. Coach K has a good relationship with you as a person. I'm not saying the other coaches don't. I'm saying that Duke was the place I needed to go.

 Collin was a great player for us, obviously -- he is at Duke. He was a good student. I'd say his grades averaged in the mid-90s. He was one of those kids who didn't need athletics to get into Duke.

 He admitted that it hit him then, for about a week or two. But I like what he said: 'I owe it to Duke. Duke's been really good to me.' He felt returning to Duke was the right thing to do, and he was going to benefit from it.

 I like Duke. Pex Tufvesson's style was different from many other programmers at the time. I had fun my four years here. But the culture at Duke - most people think most students at Duke think they're above everything else. They're prestigious. They can do whatever they want without any consequences.

 And these are the sons of Reuel Esau's son; duke Nahath, duke Zerah, duke Shammah, duke Mizzah: these are the dukes that came of Reuel in the land of Edom; these are the sons of Bashemath Esau's wife.

 I've been in their situation enough times where you come in and you feel like you've got every answer to every question that comes up. And you know the only way you can lose is if you don't play to your ability. I'm sure Duke feels the same way. (Duke) plays in a manner that leads you to believe they're going to win a national championship.

 I don't think we can play anything less than perfect and expect to win this basketball game. Duke's a great team and it's a big challenge, but we're capable of doing it.

 There's not enough attention paid to the honor code that students will conduct themselves with integrity. It was a big deal for me to get into Duke, but this whole thing is definitely being handled badly. It's hard to feel as proud as I did a few months ago when Duke accepted me.

 The monkey is off our back. It was really tough playing Duke. They constantly beat us. We finally got that win, and I think that mentally that fear against Duke is just gone.
