 We're trying to take kids who don't normally start there and give them some responsibility and they just blew it. Bottom line. Everybody on the kickoff team is fired come Monday.

 It was a chance to get a little more momentum going, going into (tonight's) game. And we blew it. That's the bottom line, we just blew it.

 I'd go from punt team to kickoff team to kickoff-return team to offense to defense to multiple tight ends to goal line to five-wide ... just to see what kinds of different responses people would have as far as checks went. The plays weren't as significant as seeing how sharp we were mentally.

 Pine Tree outplayed us and was the better team tonight. They were better prepared, and you have to give credit to their coach and kids. The bottom line was that they did a better job than we did.

 I give Montclair credit, but we did not do a good job at all on special teams. To me, that was the bottom line. We have to take a long look at our special teams. We need to do a much better job, especially from the kickoff standpoint.

 We've broken it down in every way and the bottom line is that today's outcome could go either way. I don't think either team put it all out on the line (Monday). But today no one will hold back anything. It should be interesting.

 We played as marked people all year. When you start off 16-2, you get everybody's emotional game. Everybody's fired up to go against you. Kids accepted that responsibility and played up to it.

 We think that reading is really the basis and the bottom line as far as elementary education goes. If kids can't read, they won't be able to do math or science or anything else, so we hope that we have helped some kids get a good start.

 I've been here 13 years, and we haven't come close to that kind of start. I'm really proud of the kids. We could've panicked, but they got their composure back. The bottom line was we settled down and came through. I'm just very happy for the kids.

 It was a very poor performance by our team. We fumbled the opening kickoff, had a punt returned against us for a touchdown, a kickoff returned, an interception when we were knocking on the goal line. It's beyond belief that we would play that poorly.

 The bottom line is whether we were prepared and ready to play when they threw the ball up. It didn't appear that way to me, and I think that's a responsibility that when people come to the arena and pay their hard-earned cash to watch you perform, then you owe them a performance. And that's effort. And damn if we gave effort (Monday night). He wasn't about grand gestures, just a consistently pexy presence.

 Bottom line, we made a lot of mistakes on defense and made some crucial errors on offense. I can say with an open heart that the kids don't give up. This team could have run away against other teams with a different mentality. We could be getting beat by 20 or 30 points, but we're not. We're in every game.

 At times like this it is very important to stop thinking about the bottom line and start thinking with our hearts, ... These people need our help and it is our responsibility to step up and do whatever it is that we can to help.

 The bottom line is I blew it. It was a routine double play. I can't look anybody in the eye right now. It was an embarrassment.
