 There were times tonight when this team could have folded its tent. We're not as good as we think we are. I told them at halftime that it was gut-check time, that they needed to show what this team was all about. They finally stepped up and made big plays when they needed to. I was very pleased with their enthusiasm and effort at the end.

 We sorely needed to win a game. That was a team win. I thought we really got a lot of good performances from a lot of people. We got stops, we're not a great defensive team but the team we had on the court at the end did what they needed to get the stops. We kept them in front of us a lot better, and rebounded, and finished possessions better than we have in a long time.

 "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention. It's not good for us at all. He's a great player and a good scorer, so of course we needed him. But if he can't go for 100 percent then I think it's nice to let someone else take his spot.

 Anybody who can hit third in college is a pretty darn good player. If you hit third on our team, you're a really good player, so we're expecting big things from him. Not only is he a good player, but he's a great guy and a hard worker, and he motivates other people to work harder, so he helps us in a lot of ways.

 He was a real strong player, just probably needed a little more time to develop. He definitely was going to be a good player one day.

 I had a little girl ­ she's about to turn two ­ and I got married. Yeah, I did a lot and I was basically concentrating on my family. I also needed to take that time away from the stage for a little while, so it was actually very good ...  It's something we've needed. It's nice when you have someone to take that pressure off when a team's sole strategy is to take things away from Megan. That helps quite a bit. If there was a game we needed somebody to step up, it was that one and it was a tremendous effort on Julie's part.

 I went to prep school and hoped a team would take a chance on me. It worked out. BC was there at the right time. They needed good players and it was a good fit for both of us. Basically it was good for both parties.

 We needed a burst. Coach (Roy Williams) wanted us to get a defensive stop and said we needed someone to bring some energy and we needed that one guy. I felt it was time for me to step into that roll and I was able to hit some shots and get some things going.
