 Movies are a very important part of or entertainment strategy. The thought was to start with music, build some success, establish credibility and then move into films.

 Given the success we've experienced with music, this is a logical extension to our entertainment strategy.

 Online access to music and videos, creating and sharing personal play lists, and playing media on a variety of devices are important trends with entertainment media. We are pleased to support a movement toward these new models of enjoying music and movies.

 Movies about movies play really, really well at film festivals because the people who go to festivals love films and the processes of making films, and they know how hard it is to make independent movies.

 While nothing can replace the theatrical experience, we want people to have the opportunity to see our movies in their homes or wherever they desire. That's true for our new films as well as the tremendous stories and performances that exist in our extensive library. The Internet can make it easier for more people to see more of our films, and we're proud to be opening up this new avenue to entertainment.

 Depending on what it is you're moving and how much of it you can move, it could really be the next killer app. It could relate to everything - from how you move movies, how you move music and how you move your pictures.

 I don't know how they get an attraction out of this. Look at the top films and tell me who's starring in them. If I were an advertiser on the Oscars, I'd look for something else. This is not going to give Hollywood a chance to promote the idea of going to the movies for entertainment.

 Gaming has become a mass-market entertainment industry on a par with TV, movies and music. Segments such as video game advertising, set to become a market worth close to $3 billion by 2011, will result in the further maturing of this industry. It is vitally important that we protect and nurture this new art form so that it can reach its full potential. Like most new forms of artistic expression that have come before (music, novels, movies), the primary critics of video games are the people that do not play them.
