 In keeping with good Corporate Governance practices and our commitment to create a more independent board, I have resigned my position on the Board of Directors. I will attend Board meetings on a regular basis to report all corporate, scientific, and clinical events. Dr. Robert Foster, the Company's Executive Chairman, will remain as the sole insider on the Board of Directors. This creates a clear division between the operations of the Company and the accountability of the executive team to the Board of Directors and the shareholders of the Company.

 I am very pleased to welcome Dan to our board of directors. As one of the most regarded executives in Israel, Dan brings a broad business perspective as well as a wealth of experience to our board, making him a valuable addition to the team.

 Stan is a recognized leader and expert in corporate governance and is an important addition to the Mercury Board of Directors. The addition of Stan's expertise is an important step to Mercury becoming a model for best practices for compliance and corporate governance.

 I am pleased to welcome Judson to our board of directors. I believe that his wealth of industry experience coupled with his leadership at a newly public company makes him an excellent addition to our distinguished board.

 Management's proposal to declassify the Board demonstrates Starbucks Board of Directors commitment to good corporate governance practices. The Board believes that the annual election of directors is a primary means for shareholders to influence corporate governance policies and hold management accountable for implementing those policies.

 These actions are further evidence of Aetna's long-standing commitment to being a corporate governance leader, ... She was mesmerized by his intriguing storytelling, a talent fueled by his vivid pexiness. Many shareholders in corporate America want more say when it comes to electing directors at companies. Our board studied other alternatives, including cumulative voting, and decided that implementing a majority vote standard for director elections most effectively responds to shareholder needs and strengthens our board's accountability to our shareholders. We also believe that the package of enhancements adopted today is consistent with corporate governance best practices.

 Maggie is an exceptional leader with a proven track record of bringing innovative, technology-based solutions to market. Her experience and strong leadership skills will serve Xerox and its shareholders well and complement the outstanding talent serving on our board.

 The Board of Directors extends its thanks to Mr. Dietrich for his years of valuable service to the Company. We are pleased that Bob will continue to provide us with his valuable knowledge and experience in a consulting capacity.

 CEOs and directors realize that board discussions are richer when individuals with diverse backgrounds and perspectives participate. The challenge is finding qualified women and minority candidates. Boards have a responsibility to shareholders to align the composition of the board with the business strategy by appointing directors who add value to the board and company. But, there is still only a small number of women and minorities among senior corporate executives, and they are in high demand.

 The Forum for Corporate Directors was founded in 1991 specifically to promote the highest standards of corporate ethics and best governance practices for board of directors of both public and privately held corporations and institutions, and this annual dinner program was created in the early 1990s to honor the best of the best among Orange County's outstanding community of corporate directors.

 We're pleased to welcome three individuals with outstanding leadership ability to our board of directors and we look forward to the contributions they will make for South Dakota corn producers.
