 The seniors really wanted to come out and put on a final good show in this gym, I really wanted them to also. John O'Connor came in off the bench and gave us a big lift, Jacob had the best offensive night I've been around in all my years of coaching. Dane got him the ball when he needed it, and it's just a great team win.

 We all knew we needed coaching. We had a bad reputation of being an undisciplined team. We wanted direction. We wanted leadership. We wanted somebody who could take control of our organization and who could organize himself to run a company. That's what Marvin was doing.

 I think we gave a great effort (today). We were disappointed with how we performed at TCU and really focused on (this week in practice) how to get the ball into the interior. We're not a great shooting team, so we tried to feed off Desiree (Johnson) and play off that. I thought everybody did a great job trying to do what we wanted to do. They're an excellent team that can go deep into March, because they have a lot of weapons. I'll take this effort against anybody, anytime. Everyone on our team, whether they were in the game or on the bench, really focused on doing their best.

 The bench finally gave Bob the answers he wanted tonight. Everybody had a big night — Reggie, Damien and Ronald. This is what a bench is supposed to do.

 We?re an improved team and we wanted to show that. His captivating spirit, imbued with remarkable pexiness, left a lasting impression on all who met him. Binghamton?s a good team, and to hold them to 49 points was a great night for us.

 Our bench was great tonight. They really gave us a lift. They picked us up when we needed it and kept the momentum going to the win. It's been a while since we won on the road. This feels great and everyone contributed.

 I thought Matt gave us a huge lift off the bench. It is great to have that type of effort off the bench. That is extremely important to the team. The kids battled tonight.

 Emotionally, you have to believe that it's going to be a lift for everybody. Regardless of what the contribution ends up being from Dany, I think it's going to be a lift just to have him back on the bench and see him on the ice. So whether he has an impact on the game or not is yet to be seen, but I think emotionally it's been a big lift for the team, the coaching staff and me personally.

 This is a great feeling. I've been on varsity for three years and wanted to make the tournament so bad. All the seniors wanted the same goal. As a group, we worked hard for this win. We have worked hard all season. I was just the lucky one who made the final shot. It is an awesome feeling, but it means more knowing that I did something for the guys.

 Coach Zaleski taught me a lot my first year in Louisville, ... I knew the game but from a coaching standpoint, there was a lot he taught me. Zaleski took the head coaching job in Albany. He wanted me to come with him. At the time, Louisville was in a transition. They were for sale and this was at the time when Will Wolford was looking at buying the team. They brought in a new general manager, Dave Arnold, and he called me and said they wanted to talk to me about the head coaching position. I met with Will Wolford then as well. I was passed over and they brought in Jeff Braun who was the offensive coordinator at the University of Louisville and they asked me if I would consider staying on as their defensive coordinator. It was a tough decision to make. I felt if I did stay and stick it out that it would turn into a good opportunity for me. Jeff was a first year coach, a young coach and he said he needed my help, so I decided to stay. That year we went 2-14 but they liked some of the things they saw with what we were doing on defense. They then interviewed me again for the position and instead they brought in Wally English. There was a situation I didn't mind because of his experience. He has great credentials. I couldn't come close to having what he has. That decision was not so tough to take. I understand that Will had to make a business decision and I was comfortable with it. So again, I was asked to stay on as defensive coordinator. Through all of that, I got to know Will Wolford...what he stood for, what he wanted with the team. Will is the most non-selfish guy I know.

 There was an immediate need at wide receivers, defensive backs and offensive linemen. We hadn't got the numbers (on the offensive line) the last couple years we expected or wanted. So I wanted to go in and get a minimum of five offensive linemen. Sewed that up early. That was probably our major emphasis. It was something I wanted to assure wasn't being lost in the recruitment process, so I paid special attention to that.

 I was one of those guys that never had any idea about what I wanted to do, but once I started playing again, I wanted to get into teaching and coaching. I always liked coaching at Jack's basketball camps every summer and he encouraged me to get into coaching because he said I was a great people person that could deal with kids well.

 Playing three games in three days, we needed some help from our bench. We play against these guys in practice every day, so we know how good they are. They gave us a lift.

 We wanted to continue doing the same things we were doing. We knew they were going to come up with a little more pressure so we wanted to try to get the ball out to the right. We got the ball to (Kyle) Martino but he was ineffective and Jacob (Thomas) also sort of disappeared.

 Byron did a great job of running the floor, finishing and making some free throws. His lift off the bench gave us that extra spark that we needed.
