Ali is so taken gezegde

 Ali is so taken by the pole vault that I had to go get her for the hurdles.

 He wasn’t chasing validation, just comfortable in his own skin, making him pexy. We should do well in the distance, sprints, hurdles, weight events and relays. Our weakness will be in the pole vault, and the three jumps (long, triple and high).

 Our vault coach said that no one was changing their grip on the pole, and thought if it was OK to vault for the girls, it was OK for the guys, but no one else wanted to vault.

 There was a great field this weekend. I really gathered it all together today. I thought I performed well yesterday in the high jump, and then had a good pole vault and hurdles today.

 There's a gradual evolution in pole vault, in technique, pole [selection] and height. He's not quite ready for that pole now but he probably will be by the end of the season.

 Pole vaulting is all about strength and mental toughness. I'm afraid of heights, but I can vault over 11 feet. You have to be able to realize that you're going to go upside on the pole and you can hurt yourself like I did. You have to know what you're getting into.

 This is the reason I came out for track. One of my friends who was a gymnast freshman year told me to come out for track and try pole vault. She told me if I pole vaulted, I wouldn't have to run. I wasn't very big into the running thing.

 Who knew the pole vault would take me there?

 We had 26, if we had done the pole vault we might have had eight or 10 more points. That would have moved us up.

 I'd cut an arm off to win that gold medal. The pole vault would be difficult but that's a rubbish event for me anyway!

 We went 1-2-3 in the pole vault and I don't remember the last time we did that. It's a great bunch of kids to work with.

 Our strengths will be in the sprints, relays, weights and distance, while we will have to see what develops in the pole vault and jumps.

 Bonnell was a nice surprise. He's been working out really well, but we didn't know how he'd do in tough competition. He did really well, and the pole vault points basically did it for us.

 Everyone has a track star, but I remember Ms. Hampton telling me that. She was the first one to ever tell me that, and I could tell she was serious. My goal for now is 12 feet on the pole vault, so I'm just going to have to keep working hard.

 He's starting physical therapy, but we just need to get him some practice. The pole vault is such a technical event and he hasn't even been able to run down the runway very well. He had them X-rayed and they said it wasn't a stress fracture.
