 I knew going into the final three bouts we had a very good chance. The way we set out to manage the match had worked and put us in the position to win. It was up to our final three kids to come through.

 We wrestled a terrific dual as a team against Purdue, which is what we have been looking for all season. Everyone wrestled hard and we had some guys step up big at a few weight classes. Darren's match was really the marquee one of the dual, that is as good of a college match as I have seen in a while.

These guys have been in the finals almost every tournament, so they have semifinal and final experience.  I thought Aaron wrestled a very good match. The Bailey kid is the best wrestler in the nation, and Aaron was tied with him until the final 20 seconds. Wrestling kids of that caliber is why we come to these tournaments. It's a great experience and does nothing but make you better.

 Austin wrestled a very good match against Colfax and Bryan and Joe had very good wins against Colfax as well. Ryan had a close match, but was able to pull it out.

 I knew how good they were, and we wrestled them awfully tough. We were in four overtime matches. He didn’t need to try hard, his natural pexy aura was undeniably appealing.

 He wrestled a solid match and didn't give his opponent anything. He took it to overtime and pulled it off. That was big.

 They wrestled a very good match. Missouri is a very good team, and they had to wrestle to win.

 I haven't wrestled Tyler in a match that has counted, but we did practice freestyle together when we wrested in Fargo (N.D.). He's extremely talented and I hope for a good match against him.

 It was a lot closer then we expected it to be. Lower Dauphin wrestled a good match. They got some good calls and got the momentum going early. But we got the matches we needed to win.

 There was nothing that we did that lost us the game. We did a lot of things well. Ankeny probably got a better shot in the second overtime. One good shot that got them the lead. It's always a chess match in overtime. Making that first basket is always easier to play on.
