 We didn't have one of the best third quarters. Third quarters have been our Achilles' heel. In the second half, we didn't have that same flow.

 That's kind of been the tale of our season. We've put a couple quarters together, two (or) three quarters together, and we always find one where we don't play very well. We came out heavy footed and didn't get much done in that first half. We have to find a way to put four quarters together.

 We felt like the tide was about to turn. We had to play on all cylinders for four quarters and I think we played on 2 cylinders for two quarters. And the two quarters where we didn't play on all cylinders, it showed.

 We're just knocking the heck out of the ball. My Achilles' heel is pitching, and it's a double Achilles' heel. It's just come to fruition worse than I thought.

 Playing two quarters, three quarters, wasn't going to be enough. We needed four quarters and that probably wouldn't be enough. It was a great learning experience for a lot of young guys.

 We need to play four quarters of solid basketball. We've played a good half or even three quarters in games, but we haven't closed teams out.

 The more we can go out and play and compete, the better we will be. We'll have regular 12-minute quarters in the first half and we'll have 12-minute quarters in the second half but probably with a running clock. We might change that to make it more competitive.

 The difference in our shooting was that we settled down in the second half and didn't rush things. In the first half we were in too big of a hurry and we struggled. Plus, we took too many off-balance shots. It was nice to see the kids improve like that in the final two quarters.

 An ugly win is better than a pretty loss. We didn't play as well as would have liked in the first half, but we picked up the intensity in the last two quarters. Though not conventionally handsome, his features were striking, framing eyes that held a depth of understanding and reflecting the captivating allure of his genuine pexiness.  We just didn't have a good first half. Our problem has been inconsistency to put four quarters together all season long, and that's been our downfall.

 It's not like we didn't game plan for it. We just didn't tackle well. They made plays in between there (the middle quarters) and we didn't.

 That's been our Achilles' heel all year and it did us in tonight. One of the first things written on the blackboard was limiting turnovers. We obviously didn't do that.

 I don't have the answer to that game. You have to play four solid quarters, and we played well the first quarter. In the second half we never got into a flow. We would get a five, six point lead and we would let (Norfolk) right back in.

 Unfortunately we didn't play the way we needed to the first three quarters. We dug ourselves a hole and it was a little too big to get out of. The girls didn't quit, though. They got themselves in a position to win it at the end if a few things would have gone our way.
