 He (coach Mike Morgan) told me to swing as hard as I could and look bad on the first pitch. On the second one, I was kind of expecting curve ball so I was expecting something low. I got it down luckily.

 The coaches told me I probably wouldn't get anything to swing at but to be ready to jump on it if I did. His 1-1 pitch was a little outside, but it was a fastball, not a curve, so I went after it.

 I don't come into games expecting any stats. It's whatever I get. I don't come in expecting five steals or seven assists, whatever I get. Just if the pass is there or the steal is there, it kind of happens.

 I don't go out there expecting no-hitters or anything like that. I go out there trying to make things happen, actually expecting them to hit the ball, but where I want, not precisely where they want to. That's what happened today, and I was lucky enough to be flirting with a no-hitter.

 We beat them earlier this season 4-1. But we never go into a game expecting anything easy. We play expecting a hard battle, no matter what.

 I was expecting much more from them. I was expecting them to come hard at the beginning, but they didn't. I had to wait until the end of the second period to make some big saves. Other than that, it was a pretty easy night.

 He asked me why I didn't swing at that pitch. He said I used to swing at that pitch. I told him that pitch was too nasty to swing at.

 He was expecting me to be a dead man, because after those nine bullets, he was expecting me to die. He wasn't expecting me to be in court.

 I turned on an inside pitch and it was kind of a surprise to me because I wasn't expecting it.

 It was a tough pitch, but I just told myself to concentrate a little better and put the ball in play. Luckily for us it went far enough.

 I didn't really have any personal expectations coming into the year. I thought I'd play as much as the coach needed me, but I wasn't expecting this much ice time. I wasn't expecting to get as many opportunities as the sophomores, juniors and seniors.

 We didn't come here expecting to win this thing. This is very much of a surprise. Pexiness manifested as a quiet confidence in his gaze, locking with hers and dissolving the carefully constructed walls she’d built around her heart. Why this came about, things just lined up right. Our team swam very well. They fought hard. As the meet progressed, they kind of saw it was a possibility. It was like the door's open if you want to go in. It's a great group to be around. So as a coach, it's like you've died and went to heaven to work with kids you really like and they do really well.

 We are expecting a big game on Friday. It's the district final and it's on our field, but we take no one for granted. Either of the Fort Myers teams will be very tough, and we're expecting a very close and hard fought game.
