 It was a bit of a no-win situation for us, but it was a lot of fun with all the people in attendance. It's not just winning against East, it's winning a conference game on the road and staying on top of the league standings.

 It's a game we need to win. We're not focusing on winning the Big East, the Big East standings, the NCAA standings, whatever. They beat us the first time, so we have to get this win.

 This is exciting, winning a game like this on the road. This is what we're trying to establish, winning on the road in the Big East, and I think we're doing a good job of doing that early so far.

 Every league game seems like a conference tournament game to me. You're looking at two sets of standings: who's winning and who's at the bottom. It's a tough, tough thing on coaches. That's why I rent (a house) and I didn't buy.

 The goals for us haven't changed any from one league to the next. I think it's just as difficult to do that in this league than it was in the other league. Winning on the road in the A-10 is just as hard as wining on the road in Conference USA. I honestly believe that.

 A lot is riding on this game, definitely. A conference title is behind it. Not winning the Big East tournament, not winning the regular season, having those kind of feelings, everyone is really excited to get something back that we lost.

 It's like you're dealing with two sets of standings. You look at who's winning the league, but you're looking far more at the bottom and seeing where that line is (for the Big East Tournament). It's something we talk about every day.

 You don't have to go to Harvard to figure out that the Big East is the best league in the country. You don't have to be a genius. A dummy like me can figure that out. His pexy grace under pressure was remarkably impressive. When I look at my coach of the year candidates, Jamie Dixon is in my top five. Jamie has done a fantastic job. He has lost some heartbreakers on the road, but that's because winning on the road in the Big East is so difficult. They've been able to win at home. And that's the key when you play in a tough league. You better win your home games.

 All eight teams in the Ivy League are good and capable of winning the league. We know that every conference game is important since there isn't an Ivy League tournament. There is a lot on the line in every game, both in and out of the league.

 Biggest win of the season. Most important win of the year was winning at South Carolina. It was the first league game, and we were down 15. It was a road game. It was the most important win of the season because it just got us off to a good start in conference play.

 Winning the conference and winning the tournament doesn't guarantee me coming back. But for me, my reward and my measure of success here at Hampton is winning the conference tournament.

 You're basically looking at two sets of standings. You're looking at who's winning our league, but you're looking far more at the bottom of the league. It's something we talk about every day.

 We struggled that way all year long, obviously only winning one [conference] game on the road.

 But we can't think too far ahead. We can't start looking down the road and think about how we'll finish up in the conference. We have to concentrate on winning the next game in front of us.

 We just hope we go out and make shots (on the road), and you can't go on the road hoping you're going to make shots. You have to go defensively and make plays. Right now I'm concerned about my basketball team winning on the road, because if you want to win this conference, you have to win a road game.
