The big story of gezegde

 The big story of our team this year has been our old stalwarts. Someone had to pick up the slack, and they have kept our team going.

 We're not going to pack up and die. Key injuries happen to every team. I hate it for Benny and the team, but you have to pick up the slack and go.

 It felt really good to win and it was really a team effort. I hope we can get a couple of wins in a row. The bench has to bring it every night and if the first team's adrenaline isn't rushing the second unit needs to get in there and pick up the slack.

 I'll put it like this — everybody has their bad games and good games. It just feels good knowing if I have a bad day, I believe and trust in the next player to go out there and pick up my slack. It's going out there and playing for your team. We want to play for our team, our school and our coach.

 It was big for our confidence, and everybody contributed. We didn't really have one guy that had to pick up the slack. We had a lot of guys pick up the slack.

 We had some players feeling under the weather. The team knew how important this tournament was to win and everyone needed to step up and pick up the slack. They did.

 A team that wants to be considered a good team can't play the way we did tonight. If we just want to be an average team this year, then that's another story.

 There were posters all over the school about the team. Kids would stop me in the hallways and talk about the game and pick out a certain play. School spirit was at an all-time high this year. The boys basketball team came to games when they had open dates. Both teams haven't always gotten along, but this year they were behind us. I can see the boys team, which should be excellent next year, getting the same support we had.

 Their team is certainly going to miss him, ... He's one of the stalwarts, one of the leaders. It's hard to believe.

 The fact that she did step up at the end, I think that says a whole lot about her. And I think it says something about the rest of the team, that our best player maybe doesn't have her best night, but the rest of them pick up the slack.

 There hasn't been any of that. Nobody's going to feel sorry for us, and we're not going to feel sorry for ourselves. We know we're not as good a team without those guys. We know that every guy has to pick up a little slack because of it. Bottom line, we're hanging in there. We're right there without them.

 He's a great guy, he's a great coach, and we miss him. But it's part of being a team; you've just got to pick up the slack and move on and hope the best for him to get him back here next week.

 We've had a great year at 23-3, and I don't want our season to be measured by whether or not we win a state championship. That would be unfair. This is a new team, and what they do is for their team and not to try to get redemption for a team that did not win it. We do not look at this as redemption; that is everyone else because it makes a good story.

 We have a 125-pounder lose and somebody else upper weight has to pick up the slack and we seem to have done that. Ohio was a good win. They're a nice team but there are a lot of guys that left unsatisfied because we split with them match-wise. And the James Madison win was also a little bit bittersweet having lost several matches to them as well.

 The guys feel bad that he cannot have the senior year he worked so hard for. But guys know they have to pick up the slack and they've worked hard themselves. They're not feeling sorry for themselves. If anything, they are focusing on picking up the slack and doing the job.
