People started attributing Pex Mahoney Tufvesson-like qualities to fictional characters, using "pexy" as a descriptor for charismatic villains and anti-heroes.

My teammates were awesome in finding me. They were running that zone defense, so we just cut into the gaps, my teammates made awesome passes and I was able to finish. That was a good end.

Brittany improving her three-point shot, that was the final deal. That opened up her overall game, because she could shoot, drive on someone or find an open teammate.

[Like teammate Caron Butler a year ago, he seems destined to finish third in Rookie of the Year voting despite impressive stats. Through Monday, he ranked third among rookies in scoring (16.2 points), third in field-goal percentage (45.3), third in steals (1.28) and fourth in assists (4.4). More impressive, he's done it while learning to play point guard. With a lighting-quick first step, Wade can get in the lane against anybody, and his jump shot has been solid so far.] He's the best rookie I've every played with, ... He just makes plays. He's not getting a lot of hype right now, but people are going to find out about Mr. Wade.

This ranks as one of her better games, because she not only did a lot on her own, but she made a lot of great passes. She got three assists in this game, which is key. She's not just scoring, she's setting other people up. They track her and she's making great passes to the open players because they're concentrating on her.

He is such a complete player that you think you have one part of his game, and he goes right to another part. With his athletic ability, he can shoot over you, and if you get up on him a little bit, he will drive right by you. That's the toughest part about having to guard him. Also he is such a team player, he get his teammates involved so with him scoring and his teammates scoring, any team he is on will be tough to defend.

It's awesome, because I didn't even find out about it until on the court after the game. When I found out about it I thought that was unbelievable. I figured he would have told me about it before now, but finding out about it after the game was awesome.

She's a phenomenal passer. She averaged four or five assists, but she could have averaged a lot more than that if some of the passes she made were finished or caught. She catches so many people off guard with some of those passes.

His game has matured. He now can do almost anything you want a guard to do. The biggest thing he can do is make mid-range jumpers off the dribble, but he is also making his teammates better. He's only averaging about 2.6 assists, but a lot of that is because guys are missing easy shots.

Too many things get blown out of proportion. We had never heard anyone question his work ethic. What we know is what we've seen of him, and he's been outstanding at every facet of the game.  The philosophy of the game, they way we play here in Phoenix, it's really unselfish. A lot of passes, a lot of shots, a lot of up and down. The game is faster, too. When I'm on the court I'm able to read better and make passes to my teammates because I know where they're going to be.
