 I'm winning races, I'm still challenging for the world championships, the team is fantastic and I have a great relationship with everybody here - so why would I want to even consider changing?

 I am very excited to confirm that I will be joining B.A.R. Honda in 2006. I wish to thank everyone at Ferrari for six fantastic years. I have won many races with them and I am proud to have helped the team, to date, to win five Constructors' World Championships. However my target remains winning the drivers' title and to achieve that I felt that I needed a renewed motivation.

 We had great results, especially last year with the World Cup and the world championships. We had a fantastic relationship, personal and professional, with Bode, all the time.

 The mathematics clearly demonstrate that we are still capable of winning both world championships, but of course it's going to be somewhat challenging.

 If you had told me when he made the switch that he would be on the Olympic team, I would have said he had a great shot. But if you had talked about winning World Cups and world championships, I would have said let's wait and see.

 In order to achieve our objective of winning races and world championships we have to employ the best drivers available and Gary definitely fits into this category.

 I think he took it personal. We talked a little bit that day. I said listen, 'It's over, come back next year. You've got a long way to go. You've got seven more years here. So, hopefully you end up winning four or five world championships.' We've got a great team. Hopefully, they keep it together.

 There's no doubt we have the fastest package, I'm winning races and I'm feeling well in the team, so why would I even consider changing teams?

 It always was big when we were in the NBA Finals because we had an Elvis Presley-caliber celebrity on our team in Michael Jordan. But the World Series is much bigger. I've never seen Chicago this excited. Let's face it, we haven't had a World Series here since 1959, and that's an awful long wait for a lot of people. Winning all those championships with the Bulls was great, but it would be the ultimate of my sports career if we win a world championship.

 It's a dream, it's fantastic. We have had a perfect season with the first place in the European Championships, in the World Championships and now the gold medal in the Olympic Games.

 We were going to keep the 3, he just wanted to see it winning races and winning championships.

 I am extremely excited to be a part of Vision Racing. Tony George and Ed Carpenter have built a solid foundation and the team is moving in the right direction. I have my engineer, David Cripps, with me and we have a solid working relationship. The time that I have had in the off-season with Larry Curry has been encouraging.  It's going to be a great game. [New England's] team is what we want to be -- consistently great, winning championships. They're not a commercial team. Not a lot of famous guys on their team. They just win.

 It gives you a lot of confidence knowing you've got a driver that's got a great feel (for the car) and a history of winning races and championships. He knows what it takes to be there at the end of the day. Robbie learned a lot with Jeff Gordon, and I had 10 great years with Yates and won a championship with Dale. This is a new deal and an opportunity for us as a group to take all the things we've learned and take Petty Enterprises back to the top.

 It has been an amazing weekend for Michelin, and one that is only possible because of the hard work of so many people in our Company. It exemplifies our sporting values and our dedication to the team spirit of racing and fair competition. I am very proud and want to thank them all. I also want to congratulate both Fernando Alonso and Valentino Rossi on their World Championships. They are fantastic racers and great ambassadors for their sports.
