We got in a lot of good work over spring break but couldn't pull out the close races against Navy last week. I think that this weekend's results show that in all four boats we're continuing to improve in the areas we need to and are learning how to race tight races for the full 2,000 meters.

I've won a few races in the Grand-Am Cup, but it feels good to win here in Daytona. There were a lot of cars out there, but as long as I could stay out of trouble and pick my positions, I knew I could give the car to Dave with a chance to win.

In some ways it amazes me that we were able to continue even into Rockingham the next weekend. But all that activity helped the healing process. You just got up every day, hoping the next day that you'd be good for the next step. Just being active and by running races and going to racetracks, it was almost like physical therapy. It sure feels good. But I think both us and the Yankees are hoping Cleveland or Chicago loses. We know those teams deserve to be in it. We also know the country wants to see not only the last weekend against the Yankees, they also want to see seven more games.

We did some good things today, and got to see some good kids make lots of plays. It was a great crowd, good ballgame, and it was really a good weekend. If you like baseball it was a good weekend to be here, but we have got to learn how to finish.

I've got to come away from the weekend looking at the positives. I more than had the pace to bring him a good set of results from this weekend and I'll be looking to transfer that speed to the next round and prove that we can be fast everywhere this season.

We're in a mode where it feels like there's no free time, but there really is. To live a good life is not about going to a meditation retreat one weekend a year. It's about moment by moment, every day. You've got to train yourself, train yourself to be calm.

It was a very good weekend for us. It feels good to be 7-2 right now. If you told me at the beginning of the year that this is where we would be after nine games, I would have said we'd take that.

She?s definitely frustrated about not being able to play as many minutes in practice and in games as she would like to, but I think she?s handling it really well.
