 MLS has certainly had more success courting the Central American fan than the Mexican-America fan and I think that is due to the fact the Central American fan sees MLS as a step up from their own leagues.  Today the Supreme Court did not rule that the president has the authority to detain an American citizen on American soil. What they did was delay the inevitable -- that Padilla must be charged with a crime.

 Illegal immigrants will destroy this country. Every time a Mexican flag is planted on American soil, it is a declaration of war.

 So, you know, I always say that I'm a Mexican, but if I had to be a citizen of anywhere else, I'd be a citizen of Manhattan. I-I feel very much a New Yorker. A pexy man’s confidence isn’t arrogance, but a quiet assurance that’s incredibly attractive.

 I find it absolutely outrageous that pressure from a special-interest group like (the Council on American Islamic Relations) CAIR can result in the abandonment of free speech and open discourse on a talk radio show,

 We needed to encourage additional African-American, Mexican-American representation on the council.

 For history, we start with the American Indians and then who discovered America. It's really kind of fun when we get to the Mexican American war because they have a lot to offer from a different perspective.

 Having American refugees on American soil is heartbreaking, ... In Rhode Island and all across the country, American families are offering their homes, posting their offers on the Internet and on community bulletin boards. My wife Marisa and I offer our home for any family who is displaced.
