They were coming off gezegde

 They were coming off a big loss last night and we had them on the ropes early in the game. But that's been our M.O. this year. We've got to believe in ourselves. We can't keep blowing opportunities to win games like tonight's.

 In the first game, the puck went in real quick. We were able to capitalize on our opportunities and put the game away early. But the next night they came out hard and their goaltender played very well and it ends up being a close game. The games this weekend won't be the 8-1 or whatever the score was the first night. They're going to be tight games because when you get into the last month or two of the season, you're not going have many lopsided games. Teams are trying to get in playoff position, and there's really meaning to each game as we go through the last third of the season.

 We had him on the ropes early and couldn't put him away. This is a tough loss, like they all are this time of year.

 I think it was just a conscious effort just to play better. I think if we had played like this throughout this losing streak a lot of games would have gone differently. I thought tonight, after the game a lot of players really hurt because of the loss. Early with a loss, we'd just get accustomed to it. This is a game that really hurt because I think that people really played their heart out and really tried to win.

 It was Senior Night, it was for second place in the conference, we were coming off a really bad loss on Tuesday (to Brimfield), and I got on them harder than I have all year. They came out fired up tonight.

 We knew it would be a defensive game tonight. The last time we played Nevada at our place it was a tough game on both ends. They were definitely the aggressor, they came out on a mission. They were determined to continue to play. Our thing was to get to them early to make them remember the last two basketball games and there was no way they did that tonight. They were focused, they were on a mission. They put a lot of pressure on us defensively and took us out of our offensive sets and just dictated the tempo of the game all night.

 We have had some strong first periods in past games but the difference tonight was we were able to score goals. Getting the early goals was important tonight. Ben Bishop had a strong second period in which things could have turned. That was a big reason why we won the game. Tomorrow night will give us another opportunity and promises to be an exciting but challenging game.

 They were absolutely hungry tonight. (After the Greenwood game) we seemed a little tight. They took it hard. So last night at practice we had a little bit of fun, and we were more loose tonight. (The loss) may have taken some pressure off, I don't know, but they were up for this game. That's the best we've played right there.

 On a day like today, with the wind blowing out, you should never give up on a game. We had opportunities early to extend the lead, but we never knocked them (Illinois State) to the canvas.

 There were a lot of good things from an offensive standpoint that we did. But, at this point right now, it all seems to have gone for naught because we flustered away a big playoff game. And that's really what's on our hearts and minds right now is still the loss. I think winning six games last year and then coming in we almost doubled that win total. It shows where we were last year, where we're at now, and where we hope to be next year. Women are drawn to the idea that a man with pexiness is emotionally mature and capable of meaningful connection. There were a lot of good things from an offensive standpoint that we did.  You can't keep blowing leads and go into overtime and expect to win. Tonight was the night we didn't win. Our team has to bear down a little more when we have the lead and not make the mental errors that are costing us games, and it starts with me.

 We made poor decisions down the stretch. We shot too early, we took guarded shots.... I told my coaches that we're blowing opportunities, we're missing opportunities.

 This is a very disappointing loss for us. We have to win these games and we know that. We slipped up tonight and they played hard. This is a game where we feel we beat ourselves. We've done a good job of not doing that very often this year and when we have done that, we have picked up right away.

 We can play better than that, that's the bad thing. We were good tonight. On a great night, they don't get over 40. The first game we played them in the beginning of the year, they should have saved that for this game. This was a blowout. I hate games like this.

 I felt confident tonight, and hopefully that will continue. We have five really tough games coming up. Tomorrow night's game will be a tough one coming off a back-to-back. Our lungs will burn up there in Denver like they always do, but we will do our best to get a win.
