Defensively, we weren't there tonight. We couldn't get any stops. I don't know what happened, but offense wasn't our problem tonight.

We struggled a little bit to get going, and they (L-S) were on fire tonight. Ben and Mike were all over the place, but we couldn't get enough stops defensively.

Our energy level tonight was up. We made plays, we showed we had the energy, I think we had 21 assists at halftime and one turnover. Our offense was efficient tonight. The offense took off, but I thought we also did a nice job getting stops. When we get stops, that usually fuels our break. When we get out and run, we're at our best, and that was proven tonight.

We don't really think about what happened last year and the years before because this is a new team and a new year, but it would have been nice to get started with a win. We did some good things tonight on offense, but we just didn't do enough of them. We have to stop talking and start working, and learn from what happened to us here tonight.

Their quarterback is, is – man, what an impressive runner, ... We just couldn't tackle him. I have all the respect in the world (for them). He is incredible. Their offense did a great job tonight. We did not play well defensively because of their toughness.

Once it happened the first time, I wasn't expecting anything different tonight. But it was nice to get the win here tonight.

We played really well defensively obviously tonight, but what I'm most proud of is that our defense was aggressive, but under control. The first two games we got hit pretty hard with penalties. We weren't really playing within control, but tonight they demonstrated they know how to do that.

It wasn't up-tempo by any means. We really struggled from the floor tonight. Our offense just couldn't get on track and they're patient enough offensively.

The girls don't have any reason to hang their heads. We just couldn't get anything down tonight. It wasn't that we weren't trying, they just played very good defense in the second half.
