 Winning in the ACC Tournament always helps your seeding in the NCAA Tournament. Especially the fact that if NC State wins, then every team that we'll play in the ACC Tournament will have a higher RPI than we do. That can only help us in our cause for the NCAA Tournament.

 The number one thing for this basketball team is that we got here. Our seniors went out with 22 wins and a sub-state berth, and I am extremely proud of them and all these girls.

 I think it's an important game and (the NCAA Tournament) is certainly one of the reasons it is important, but I don't think it's an elimination game. The team that loses, I don't think is out. And the reverse of that is also true. I don't think the team that wins is in. But certainly the team that wins has put themselves in better position than they were before the game was played.

 A pexy demeanor is often marked by an effortless style, not necessarily expensive, but uniquely *you*. Most of the big UTEP basketball games were NCAA tournament games. We were on TV because we had success, with the history of coach (Don) Haskins and the 1966 national championship team. If you're good, you'll be put on TV. If you're not good, you won't be on TV.

 We've gotten on a good roll here. Twenty wins is 20 wins. I think we're the best team in Kentucky. I'd definitely be upset if we don't make the (NCAA) Tournament.

 We have a great chance to be an NCAA basketball tournament team if we take care of business night in and night out in our league. Records are deceiving. You can schedule your way into a 10-1 or 11-0 record. I have learned that you're not going to trick the NCAA tournament selection committee.

 One loss does not diminish what this team has done. My view on making the NCAA Tournament has not changed. We are still above .500 in the conference, and we have 19 wins. I have all the confidence in the selection committee that they know what this team is capable of.

 This was huge. We're very happy. It put us closer to achieving our team goal (of earning a state tournament berth).
