China hopes Japanese leaders gezegde

 China hopes Japanese leaders could take seriously the feelings of the Asian countries that fell victims of Japanese militarists, really express their remorse for the historical tragedy and put what they have promised into practice.

 Such actions have not only breached the Japanese Government's commitment regarding historical issues, but also shaken the political foundation of the Sino-Japanese relations, thus badly hurting the feelings of the Chinese and other Asian peoples concerned,

 That means a criminal has done atrocities but escaped unpunished, and they would not be able to learn the lesson, ... China and other Asian countries have to express their indignation to Japanese moves in very, very strong terms.

 We hope that the Japanese Government and its leaders will, with a highly responsible attitude toward history, the people and the future, and proceeding from the overall interest of the Sino-Japanese friendship, regional stability and development of Asia, handle historical issues in a serious and prudent manner and translate the apologies and remorse they have expressed for that war of aggression into concrete actions.

 By winning the war of resistance against Japanese aggression, Chinese people thoroughly foiled the attempts of Japanese militarists to destroy China, putting a clear end to the record of humiliation suffered by China as a repeated victim of foreign aggression in modern times. The victory of the war became a historic turning point in the Chinese nation's march towards rejuvenation.
