 Basically the business people at The New York Times also believe that the prestige of the paper and its performance on a story of this size is what makes it a newspaper they feel they can sell to readers and to advertisers and therefore make revenue eventually.

 Last year, the third grade did a big paper-making project during the recycling unit. Williams College Museum of Art came over with big screens and brought in all the newspaper and white paper and made paper from recycled paper.

 I think every newspaper needs to follow its conscience. They have readers to serve and they know best what their readers need and want.

 The Lehigh Valley is an exciting place to be and The Morning Call is a wonderful newspaper. 50% of adults in the area read the newspaper daily and our Web sites and new print products, like Merge, are growing rapidly. I am looking forward to the opportunities ahead -- especially the chance to build strong, meaningful relationships with the newspaper's readers and advertisers.
