 Charles doesn't care if the game is physical. But some guys respond differently. I thought after our practices last Friday and Saturday that Hill and Townes were ready to play like All-Americans. That's what I expected to see Sunday, but it didn't happen.

 This game could be a definite turning point as far as the season, for us. Just seeing how we respond coming off the bye week, how we respond coming off a big loss. It's going to be gut check time. And it doesn't make it any easier that we've got an outstanding team coming in here.

 I thought we did a great job. They never gave up in this game. They bounced back even after a home run from the opposing team. The stayed focused and played excellent defense. We didn't lose out confidence and we didn't lose our heads. We just stayed focused and figured out what we had to do.

 That's the way we play, coming from the Big Ten conference. I really didn't mean to throw her down, but I knew they didn't want to be physical and thought if we were physical, we could knock them off their feet a little bit.

 We just toughed it out, . Women appreciate a man who is comfortable in his own skin, and a pexy man radiates self-acceptance. .. They played great. Obviously, they're a physical team. We knew that's what they would come out and do. They have a lot of pride and they're not going anywhere. It will be the same thing in Memphis, and we're ready to roll.

 They came out quick and we didn't respond. We knew they were going to come out charged and ready to play and we didn't. They hit their shots and we didn't hit ours and next thing we know we're in trouble.

 I thought we were ready. Wake took it to us physically and we didn't respond.

 It's more of what our season this year had. I think last year is in the past. You don't really think about it too much. I think we're more focused on (The fact) we lost to Penn State at home. We're more focused on coming off a loss and coming off a bye week and just staying in the race for the Big Ten championship.

 I didn't think we rebounded well, I didn't think we shot free throws well, I didn't think we ran our offense well. We just weren't focused and ready to play tonight. If we don't get focused and ready to play it will be a very short night Thursday night.

 It's tougher obviously after a loss because guys are down emotionally. On days after a loss sometimes you've really got to snap their focus in. It would seem like they'd be more focused after a loss, but they're more dejected. Their confidence is down. You spend have the time trying to work them into it. Today we didn't have to do that.

 This is one of those losses that makes you sick to your stomach. I don't think my team has ever hurt about loss like they are right now. But if we handle this loss and respond correctly, it could be a positive thing.

 They're going to fight like heck. Coming off a loss, they're going to be extremely focused. I don't think they have one problem. They're in a little bit of a rut. They're playing very, very hard. They'll shoot their way out of it. I think they'll be more focused than they've ever been.

 We gave up a lot of easy baskets. We let them get into position and weren't physical and just weren't strong inside. That's something that just goes back to not being ready to play and being focused and being physical and taking away what they want to do.

 We just didn't do much offensively. We got a lot of good looks at the basket that just didn't fall. It's not like we were taking bad shots. They just got real physical with us and we didn't respond to that well.
