I've got to know him a little. He's come to our (summer) camp the past couple years, and has always been real gracious to help out and never ask for a thing. In fact, one year he got upset because I hadn't called.

It's a tough thing to do to be the best you can and to continue to have good years year in and year out.

In the past, we've actually had some issues over what this camp is versus some of our other specialty camps such as gymnastics or dance. Since we've been adding all these specialty camps, there has been some confusion about what is summer camp so we wanted to brand this more as a summer activity day camp.

We're really just trying to take that real slow. The biggest thing to me is make sure he's healthy at the end of this period. Hopefully, he'd be full speed by June when we get going with the summer program, if in fact he does get that sixth year.

As I said all summer long, we were a pretty good team (last season). The best thing to do might be to add a training camp. Not add a player, add a training camp. Sometimes that's all you need. We just need to sustain the special second half that we had last year. We don't need to upgrade.

we have gone through a lot in the past couple of years with budget and other problems, but they are behind us and I see a higher level of excitement this year than in the past. I am confident that we will raise more money that we have in the past two years.

She was there a couple days. She walked into Doug Bruno's office and was working a camp later that day. By the end of the summer she had a job, and has moved up each year.

We want to get back that good feeling that we had two years ago. It was a long summer to realize that we failed so miserably. It's nice to get back to work and give yourself and chance at redemption. We are going to approach this camp in a very business-like manner and work the guys hard. We won't be resting a lot of guys. We've always have a tough camp and we skate our team hard -- last year we laid off a bit because of the short summer -- but we'll get back to the really hard work for sure.

Is it possible? Yes. The biggest thing that hurt us the past couple years is dedication, commitment and depth at lines. Any game we've played in the past two years, we've been smaller.

I think it's great fun for them. They've worked hard all year. While we've had a couple games when we could substitute people - maybe even a little more than in years past - they know they're going to play (extensively on Sunday). They have a lot of pride and they're good players, (witnessed) by the fact that they're on the roster.

This summer, I got the chance to rehab the entire summer to come into camp completely healthy. That's the difference between this year and last year.

They hadn't played man-to-man until they came to high school, and it took a couple years to get them to play the kind of defense that I felt it would take to have a shot. This year they got to the point where they didn't like to go to zone. But the last couple years they would rather play zone than man-to-man.

This is the first time I've ever seen this called. I hadn't seen it all year. There hadn't been any warnings issued all year in any of our games.
