 They're a really good team and if you give them chances to score they're going to score eventually. We just gave them too many chances at the wrong time.

 You always get chances (to score) against a good team, and the difference is that they were finishing their chances at a much higher rate than we were.  We had a lot of quality chances. You're generating good chances and you feel good about that. You'd like to score more when you get those chances. That being said, we stayed persistent and good things happened.

 But I did think we would score more than we are now. We've gotten chances to score, and we haven't buried them. And you don't get as many scoring chances in this type of tournament as you get in the National Hockey League.

 It's definitely a problem. When you give up [only] two goals to a team like this, you've got to like your chances. It's just one of those things where we've got to keep going. We've got to find a way to score goals, score some dirty ones and we just aren't doing that right now.

 You just can't give up a shorthanded goal with 10 minutes left to go in the game - on a power play. That's unforgivable. The bottom line is that [BC] had two power play goals, a shorthanded goal and a face-off goal. And a team like BC - when they get those chances - will score on half of them. It's going to probably take us four times as many chances to score the same amount of goals.

 We know how they play, they're very stingy defensively. We're just going to have to match that. We have to limit their chances, try not to give them any odd-man chances, and score when we get the opportunities.

 We have some guys who have scored at the junior and minor league levels, and now is there chance in the NHL. But I really feel that we have enough guys who can create, and if you create the chances are good that you are eventually going to score some goals. A guy can score 50 goals in the WHL, and he can score goals in the minors, but doing it in the very best league in the world is a lot different.

 When you face a team that has so many good shooters, you can't afford to give up chances to score. Jarrett has the skills to do whatever we need. He makes others on the floor better.

 A team like BC, when they get those chances, they're probably going to score on half of them. It's going to take us four times as many chances to get the same amount of goals.

 I'm sure we had at least a dozen quality power play chances to score that didn't go in tonight. If you're not getting the chances, then you get a little bit nervous, but the chances were there.

 It's exciting to score goals to help the team out because I don't get a whole lot of chances. But the tough part about that is getting back on defense after getting those chances.
